My apologies - this is what happens when you try doing more than one thing at a time. Disabling ULPS improves fps and reduces the risk of downthrottling but at the risk of increasing driver instability. Thanks for the clearance! One more thing about the ULPS, I have just seen a video on youtube who tried Witcher 3 on a 5700xt with ULPS on and off and the only difference was the gpu temperature, which was sometimes significantly lower but the fps was the same all the time. Is this same for us too? Is getting higher fps more like theoretical here than it it is practical? Maybe this is a feature that works great with macs I don't really know. Thanks for all the replies! From what i've seen ULPS can increase fps in some games by 2-3 fps, sometimes more sometimes less, so its very minimal gains. The important bit is that turning it off doesn't allow the GPU to downclock until the thermals reach the manufacturers maximum safe temperature rating.

I'm happy to report that the Valve Index / Steam VR games finally work on the 2020 iMac with the 5700XT + the RED drivers. Half-LIfe: Alyx and SW: Squadrons have dramatic performance increases with these drivers.

I installed the red version (just downloaded and installed, no DDU or Device Manager stuff) on an 2020 iMac with the 5700XT.
Seems to run great. I tested Horizon Zero Dawn and Jedi Fallen Order. Both run great. I'm not seeing much FPS difference, I might try a clean install.
Also can't go past 4K but that's fine by me I only use Windows for games anyway.

Red driver using Device Mgr update method works great on MBP16" w/ 5600M iGPU + 5700XT and 6800XT eGPU.
Tested on Red dead redemption 2, Monster hunter world, DOOM eternal.
Low FPS on Mount&Blade bannerlord but it is a persistant issue related to eGPU.
Having trouble launch Assassin's creed Valhalla but i've gathered it is not a bootcampdriver-specific problem.
A side note, DO i have to update to Big Sur to get 6800XT work on MacOS?

I have a 2020 iMac with the i7 and 5700XT. The only thing I use Windows for is Valorant. Note that I use a dual monitor setup with an LG GL850 144hz monitor. So far, it has been very good, aside from one major issue. About once a day, the system will freeze and a few seconds later, both screens turn black. I can still hear the game sounds and can still use the in-game voice chat. The only fix I found is to restart the computer. Does anyone else have a similar experience/fix? I use the Red version of the driver by the way (4K resolution on iMac display). Thanks for the driver, Mat!

Sorry noob here. I have October 2020 Red Edition installed on my 2019 Macbook Pro 16 inch with 5500m 4GB - via the Device Manager method on top of default Apple Bootcamp Drivers. How do I upgrade to this November 2020 Red Edition? Can I just install it on top via setup.exe?

How do I upgrade to this November 2020 Red Edition? Can I just install it on top via setup.exe? Device manager update instructions Begin with stock official Apple BootCamp drivers installed (do not uninstall with DDU or use setup.exe). If you have January edition installed on your MacBook Pro 16" then you can start with these drivers instead. Open 'Device Manager' (search for it in the search box) and select your GPU from the 'Display adaptors' drop-down. Right-click and select "Update driver" . Select "Browse my computer for drivers" (lower option) and navigate to the downloaded drivers folder. Make sure the 'Include subfolders' checkbox is ticked then click 'Next'. The driver will now update with the screen flickering a couple of times. To install the AMD software run "setup.exe" from the downloaded driver folder. Click on "Additional Options". Make sure the "Factory reset" checkbox is NOT ticked (it isn't by default normally), then click install. Restart and enjoy!

If that doesn't work properly for some reason then try the device manager update method outlined by iceman above

Happy to report that Nov. 2020 drivers (red edition) works flawless on an iMac Pro (2017) with Vega56! As always did DDU, restart, install, restart. What games are you playing Henni? I don't seem to be able to get any of the 2020 graphics working on my iMac Pro (Vega 64) properly in Fortnite. Though the official Apple drivers perform the same, I just get MASSIVE frame drops, it goes from 180fps to liek 40 all the time and huges hitches making it horrible to play. The only drivers I can get to play nice are the Nov 2019 ones.

Windows update just auto installed an "Apple Inc update" and after the update AMD Radeon software won't launch. The driver and all GPU still works OK, Just no software.
