try reinstalling the driver? Will try this weekend thenreport back. Tried device manager update but it told me i'm on latest driver. Re-run RED setup go thru w/o problem but with same outcome, AMD software won't launch. Need to DDU then install stock Bootcamp driver then device manager update to RED and reinstall AMD software. Or I can just DDU then install RED? Mean time everything works perfectly fine other than no fancy AMD performance metrics to look at. I looked into update history, the "Apple Inc update" suspected to brake AMD software is called "Apple Inc. - System - 6.1.7800.11"

matt Just wanted to thank you for these November drivers. I have been using the August Red drivers since August and they have been really stable for me for the games I play (mostly Destiny2), but I decided to give the November Blue drivers a whirl. I am getting better, more sustained fps, at higher settings with these new drivers. I also have an LG 5K display that now looks FANTASTIC in 5K (didn't even realize what I was missing in Windows until I installed these). Thanks for all the hard work.

try reinstalling the driver? Hi Mat, on my 2019 imac with vega 48 the drivers seem to work fine (November red). However, clicking with the right mouse button on the desktop does not show the possibility to open the radeon control app. With October drivers I can do that.

Appreciate your efforts Mat HD - the technical aspects I'd probably never understand but thanks for your hard work nonetheless. It's recommended to use Blue Enterprise for 500 cards - I have an older 2017 iMac/Radeon Pro 575. Since more time is spent gaming though, it would be nice to at least try the Red Edition - but I don't think the compatibility is there. Would it totally break my system if I installed RED? There was mention of some 5k display's having issues.. Currently things are ok with gaming - but gamers aren't satisfied with just "OK". Maybe I'm capped though, idk. Sadly it don’t work ... I tried it but now it recognizes my iMac 27 2017 5k as two individual displays so that I can choose for the left side and the Right side. Or is it supposed to do that ? I don’t know but I doubt it. It recognized the one side as EDP and the other as DisplayPort. When I say only use one and stretch it the resolution ist awful and I have no idea how to fix it now I have to try the Blue Edition. I would prefer red because I use windows only for gaming and VR gaming with the HTC Vive Pro so the Red Edition would be nice but I think in the future there will be an Update so we have to wait.

Apple uses two timing controllers to provide 5k.this effectively splits the screen in half then sticks them together to provide 5k.hence why you are seeing "two monitors"

i was using some older drivers, skipped a few months and installed the Nov. edition (made sure to uninstall previous version) Everything seems fine, except when my PC wakes up from sleep, the resolution is all messed up, I only see half the screen and it looks like it's running at 800x600 or something. I just reboot and it fixes it, until the next sleep... never had this problem before, is there anything I can do?

On my MBP 16 5500m 4GB I was only able to install drivers from April and on with the device manager method but I was able to actually install this driver through the normal DDU-> Setup process! Thanks Matt for all your hard work! I think when I tried the device manager method with these drivers I had worse performance so I tried the regular method and it works perfectly!

Hey Matt, latest drivers work wonderful! I am able to play Cyberpunk with no crashes thus far, had multiple on Apple Drivers. Only thing I may have broke on installing the new Blue Drivers is the Software no longer launches. Giving a mismatch error (Drive is not same as software), Any ideas? Does not seem to be affecting much, oh and my system is a iMac 2020 27 5500XT 64GB RAM.

Hey Mat, I think you might want to update your installation guide. The new DDU version with the "Remove driver/filter amdkmpfd" breaks functionality of gpu drivers (or the gpu firmware itself) and causes severe downclocking at low temps (at around 65-70 degrees celsius for GPU, 65-70 degrees CPU). I have tested with both red and blue drivers and downclocking does not occur if I don't select "Remove driver/filter amdkmpfd" in the new version of DDU provided in your drivers after a fresh install of Windows 10. Note: The previous version of DDU does not have the "Remove driver/filter amdkmpfd" and does not cause issues.
Windows 10 20H2 Tested with all drivers from January to November 2020 drivers over the span of 2 months, both red and blue. Used Unigine Heaven, Vally, Superposition; 3dMark Time Spy, Firestrike; Rainbow Six Siege, Counter-Strike Global Offensive, Team Fortress 2, Minecraft Java Edition, Subnautica, Dirt Rally 2.0, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Star Wars Battlefront 2 (EA). Basically all the games that I play.

I updated my iMac 5k 2020 with Radeon 5700 XT to the new driver version (blue enterprise edition) and until now everything works. But I did not test it with many games. My question is: Will there soon be an new version for the news drivers that support Cyberpunk 2077? And did anyone try out Cyberpunk 2077 with the November edition of the Radeon driver?
