What mac do you have? Some imac 5k only work properly with blue edition. Same goes for some external displays bigger than 4k res. MacBook Pro 15-inch 2017 | i7-7700HQ • Radeon Pro 555 I rarely use any external monitors, the odd 4K TV. I still recommend blue edition but red edition should work too

Thanks Mat, will go with Blue. IceMan, I hope it is a new UI. Installing now. EDIT: Wow, new UI looks decent, basically Red Software with a blue tint. I like this.

Blue edition "device manager" install hard crashed Windows (2020 5700xt). Even safemode wouldn't boot for DDU, fortunately a "restore computer" got me back to a safe spot from this morning.

Hey Mat, installed red version of this release on my 16inch MBP 5500M 8Gb and everything has been working very stable so far with a nice bump in FPS. With some tweaks through quickcpu and morepowertool I can get decent numbers in GTA V with everything set at very high or ultra, fxaa and 2x msaa at 1200p. I'll play some more games on these drivers this week to give it a test but it looks very promising. Thank you very much for the time and efforts you are putting into this! Attachments:

I'm sorry to see its still not working yet. I'll look into making a dedicated driver to see if that solves the hard crashes.

Which tweaks did you do in quickcpu and morepowertool? I have the same MBP as you and using Nov Red version also.

Hey Mat, I tried to install the new RED drivers on my 2018 MBP with at 5700XT eGPU, and I haven't been able to successfully reboot into windows after upgrade and clean install, I just get stuck in a infinite loading loop. Thankfully I was able to get into safe mode and DDU the new drivers and I'm gonna re-install the October RED drivers. Hopefully you can figure this out.
All specs : 2018 15' MBP i9, 32gb, 560x 5700XT 8gb founders edition in a Razer core X chroma enclosure.
Hopefully these new drivers will improve how death stranding performs, as of right now I'm only getting 35-40 FPS on default setting @1080p with full overclock (as high as it goes, been running it like this for several months now) and ram upped to 1820mhz
EDIT : I figured out how to install the drivers while avoiding the boot loop. all while being disconnected form the eGPU. Starting off with a clean install.
I installed October edition again, but with the eGPU disconnected. Then installed November edition while it was still disconnected, restarted, connected the eGPU and ran the repair to install the drivers for the 5700XT.
and its been working fine so far, I have yet to run death stranding so ill let you know if it improved anything!

Hi Mat, installed new red drivers after ddu-ing previous alpha version, successfully installed but had even worse gpu throttling at low temps (again at around 72-75C MAX and at a shorter gaming duration). DDU-ed again and installed new blue drivers. These had much better performance and haven't throttled at all (tested stability in looping Unigine Valley Benchmark at Extreme HD preset for 1 hour). However, I suspect that a specific component of DDU is causing the extreme throttling (specifically the "Remove driver filter" option), because the new DDU version has this option and i've been having issues ever since you've been providing the newer version of DDU. Using the older DDU version without the "remove driver filter" option works the best for me, at least.
The new blue drivers definitely perform the best (love the new UI too).

Happy to report that Nov. 2020 drivers (red edition) works flawless on an iMac Pro (2017) with Vega56! As always did DDU, restart, install, restart.

Thanks for all of your help and work on this. I know the risk of an unsalvageable Win10 install is always there, but fortunately didn't happen this time. 5300m works great. I tried them both. Blue gives better FPS due to less radeon features running.
Anyone know if more power tools works on 5300m?
