Thanks for the drivers in my case for a iMac 2020 radeon Pro 5500 XT I've installed Red version, I also have the dual screen issue, it's easy to fix but is just temporal, because when restarting the Windows, it happens again and you have to do the same fix every time. Any fix for that ? Besides that everything run smoth, tested on fortnite with a 80 FPS average, and so far there has been no crashes with the atikmdag.sys like with Apple drivers. thnaks for your effort! The Problem with Red Version is if you mac is 27" Inch then you should use Blue version because of the 5K res. then your Dual screen should get away or another simple process lower you active signal 4K or lower then 4K Res. Then the dual screen bug should go away

Hi everybody!
Today I found out what the problem has been with every Red driver since Jan. My setup is a MacBook Pro 15 2017 3.1 Ghz Radeon 560. I have been testing almost every driver in modern warfare with the main benchmark being the lobby animation. The best drivers for me have been the 2019 one specifically I have found that November is the most stable (34 fps in lobby 2048x1280, all on low except textures high and the first aa option). With the 2020 drivers the game would start rapidly dropping to under 20 fps in lobby and unplaybale in gameplay. Until august I wasnt able to get to the root of the problem until I used the metrics from the radeon software, msi afterburner and throttlestop. Temps never passed 80 on any driver, hovering more around 60-70 so I started to ask myself why the performance drops. For some reason 2020 drivers drop the clock speed to around 300 mhz for no apparent reason. Temps are always ok, low cpu usage. I managed to set every state in wattman to the highest clock (907 mhz or 1053 if I try to oc). This fixed the drops and maintained to clock where it should be. Gameplay is still a bit choppy compared with november drivers, it seems to me that the gpu still tries to cut the clocks but stops before any big drops. I am not that good at explaining the technical aspects but I think there is a software problem with the new drivers that forces the gpu to stay on low clock speeds rather than maxing out performance. Not even after overclocking did I manage to break 90 degrees. From what I can gather it should be easly fixed with software tweaks. Matt what do you think about this?
Thank you!

To finalise my findings Mat; - DDU in safe mode x3 - Boot back in to normal mode, and install the official AMD Bootcamp drivers - Don’t restart, and update through device manager to August Red. - Restart, and then install the Adrenalin August red software (don’t tick factory reset) - Everything works great. Mac Pro 7,1 - W5700X Yep, this currently works. When I get back home, will report if it works with my eGPU Confirming this works with a 5700XT and a Razer Core X

Yep, this currently works. When I get back home, will report if it works with my eGPU Confirming this works with a 5700XT and a Razer Core X Excellent. What I will say is, the only thing not working for me, is is the performance tuning tab in the Adrenalin software. When I click on the performance tuning tab, the software locks up, and then consequently, it crashes. When I open up the Adrenalin software form there on, it immediately crashes, rendering it unusable.

Hey, does this update fix the support for iMac 2019 with Vega 48?
The Compatibility page still says "2020 edition (January, March & April) do not work with Vega 48 iMacs"
Thanks

I just wanted to confirm that with the 2020 16" macbook pro with a i9-9880H and the 5500m 8GB, I am able to install the January red drivers using the full process, then install the August red drivers without running DDU or checking "factory reset" and everything is working.
Previously I was having the black screen of death any time I tried to enable gpu scaling, or sometimes on startup. Now I can use those settings and I tested it

Adrenalin August Blue enterprise edition also works well with iMac 5k 2017 Radeon Pro 580. Blue is better for fps than Red for me. After all, Red is better for fps than Blue.

Just registered to confirm it is working on MBP 16" 2019 5500M.
I was one of those where April drivers crashed on connecting an external display, I was with Jan Blue drivers up until now.
August crashed with external display as well, here is what I did:
- Installed Jan Red - Updated to Aug Red via Device Manager - setup.exe without reset option
Can confirm vanilla install did NOT work for me, this works now.
However, one question: I did not get DP Alt mode 1.4 to work, is that a general issue? In MacOS I have 4K@60Hz and 10Bit Color available. In Win, I can either select 60Hz, then I have "8Bit with dithering" or I can go back to 30Hz, then I have 10Bit activated. Any solution to this? Problem was there with Jan Blue as well. With Aug Red I can try to force 10Bit it via Adrenalin Software, but the screen flickers 2-3 times and it goes back to 8Bit.
Thanks upfront for potential help with the issue and thanks Mat for providing these drivers!

Mat..... An update to my previous post. bootcampdrivers.freeforums.net/post/6887I downloaded and ran Unigine Heaven and with the same configuration, I get the following with April Adrenaline Drivers: Dell Monitor Plugged into MacBook Pro TB3 using 5700XT graphics card. DirectX 9 ... FPS = 121.9 Score = 3072 DirectX 11 ... FPS 83.7 Score = 2110 OpenGL ... FPS 29.1 Score = 732 Dell Monitor Plugged into RazerX Chroma via HDMI using 5700XT graphics card in Razer X DirectX 9 ... FPS = 184.8 Score = 4655 DirectX 11 ... FPS 108.3 Score = 2728 OpenGL ... FPS 131.6 Score = 3315 Clearly a performance penalty by plugging monitor directly into the computer, as opposed to plugging the monitor into the 5700XT graphics card in the RazerX Chroma ... It's caused by eGPU loopback. August 2020.8.3 Drivers Plugged into RazerX Chroma via DisplayPort Connection plugging the monitor into the 5700XT graphics card in the RazerX Chroma DirectX 9 ... FPS = 186.9 Score = 4707 DirectX 11 ... FPS 120.8 Score = 3042 OpenGL ... FPS 134.6Score = 3390 Definitely a performance improvement using the August 2020.8.3 drivers versus the April 4.1 drivers. Regards, Doug

Installed August red drivers and working great on my Imac Pro vega 56, any tips or tricks needed to boost fps in emulators such as YUZU or CEMU? Only ever used blue before so not sure what red offers!

2020 iMac with the 5700 XT here. Updated to the RED driver successfully.
Pros:
- Getting noticeably better performance in all games.
Cons:
- Multiple games crashing regularly during gameplay. Error log says it's usually related to Direct X. Games affected: Warzone, Fortnite, Halo Anniversary

Anyone with 2013 MacPro had luck installing this version? I'm wondering about this too What drivers are you currently using for 2013 MacPro?
I can't even get this running without a crash:
Boot Camp Unified Driver R3 for Windows 10 19.30 3/23/2020
Doubt the August edition will work either.
