Tried it on my Mac Book pro 16 with the 5300m. Everything seemed fine at first. But after a restart and a login the mac just shows a black screen and then the fan goes full power and it turns off. Used the blue drivers.

MBP 16 with a 5500M, Red drivers installed ok, but upon launching a game the screen went black after changing the resolution and my MacBook turned off a minute or so later Now it does the same thing when trying to boot into Windows. I'm a bit worried now, I can't seem to get into Windows. I had this issue too with the April drivers but usually it would still boot Windows fine afterwards so I could roll back. Now I just get the spinning Windows logo, a black screen for about a minute then a sudden blast from the fans then the laptop shuts off. While I know the Blue drivers are recommended for the MBP 16, I had the Red January drivers installed prior with no issues.

I should add please can you ensure you are running the latest version of Windows with these drivers as well. Report any bugs you find to me and also (perhaps more importantly) to AMD using the bug reporting tool on the main website.

Dont worry, after 3rd failed attempt to boot it goes into recovery, boot into safe mode and use DDU to uninstall the driver.
Thanks Matt for putting in the time, but seems like 2019 Mac Book Pro 16s still have the same black screen of death issue. Hope you can look into it. Cheers!

Report any bugs you find to me and also (perhaps more importantly) to AMD using the bug reporting tool on the main website. Whoops, thought I forgot something. Yep running the latest version of Windows 10 (2004 with latest Windows Updates). I've only had my MacBook for a week so it's a very fresh install of Windows too. It seems to be some issue with non native resolutions? Like I'll launch Overwatch and it'll launch the game at the native resolution of the MBP 16 (3072x1920 off the top of my head right?) but as soon as I change it to anything else like 1920x1200 or when I had the April drivers installed and tried to launch a game that was set previously to load at that resolution the MacBook just goes to a blank screen and crashes

Some resolutions may cause a crash especially if they are a different ratio to the monitor. The ones that should work ok for MBP 16 are: 3072x1920 (native) 1536x960 (0.5x native) 2304x1440 (0.75x native) The iMacs share code with the MBP 16s graphics cards so i've had to include their custom resolutions all in one package. Selecting one of the resolutions designed for the iMac 5K will likely cause the game to crash on MBP 16.

Interesting moment that Macs Fan Controll stop working (and even open) with this version of driver, when I switched back to January it's open again without mistake. My specs: MBP 16 2019 5500m 4gb, Windows 2004 with latest update.

Wonder if AMD changed something, because 1920x1200 was working flawlessly on the January drivers. I think it's still a 16:10 resolution too. Interesting.

I'm running windows 10 2004 with everything up to date. The system just fails to boot up past the login screen for me! Reverted back to the Jan drivers as they seem to work perfectly.
Weird thing I noticed is that it shows up to lock screen on my external monitor and once I login I get the black screen. Where as with my external monitor disconnected the black screen appears immediately just after the windows logo. I use a 34inch 1080p monitor. Hope this helps!
