Did someone succeed installing the August release on a Trashcan MacPro? (Late 2013 AMD FirePro D700) I was able to update from the November version through Device Manager and it went smoothly for two days, after that it keeps crashing as soon as I lunch Warzone and even with a clean install it doesn't work anymore. Is there a workaround or the August release isn't yet compatible with such GPU? I'm seeing the same behavior with my dual d700 trashcan. It will run for a little bit and then the screen either goes blank or the screen goes to a lined pattern. The November 2019 red edition drivers work fine though.

memory clock never goes lower than 1500MHz given no 3D demanding process running in the background (fresh boot) is this considered an issue/bug? this persists in all releases is it just me or others are also seeing this as well?

Hey Mat, got a bit of an update from reverting back to January Drivers The FPS drop seems to have disappeared after a couple days on the Jan. drivers. Everything is running like normal now. I also wanted to ask about ReLive. I can't seem to get it working on any driver versions I have installed (Jan Red/Blue, August Red/Blue). I just get a green screen with my mouse cursor. I installed the respective OpenCL file after each installation, which didn't seem to change anything. I was wondering if there was something I am missing in getting ReLive to work? It would be super useful, especially for recording content. Anyway, thanks again for all of your hard work! I will probably try updating to the August drivers if I can get the thermal pads mod installed. Thermal pads on the VRMs have seemed to help loads of people who have the 16'. Also if you need any additional testing with the 16' 5500M regarding settings, drivers, or anything else, I'd be more than happy to test and report my experiences. Thanks again!

Newest works like dream on vega 48. I have used all newest drivers over year and everything always working great.
Tips: Use uninstaller tool what coming inside pack and open that program at safemode (hold shift and press restart from windows). Select restart option after uninstall. Computer restarts and then install newer. If you need power/clocking options, use msi afterburner. Click from afterburner settings extend official overclocking limits and restart. Now you can play with clocks and stuff.
If you playing games: Throttlestop to disable turboboost. Second way is limit wattage from cpu or limit speedshifting (like multipler to 35 or 40). Depends game and temperatures. I play much CSGO and it only uses 2 cores, right? Then is better use higher clocks. Go afterburner settings and enable hotkey to on-screen-display and you can see temperatures and usage. Use macs fan control to full blast fan or make custom settings.
Everything works great. I also playing GTA Online with Vega 48 and i9. Stable 60fps with 2048x1152 (that resolution x 2.5 = native, better than 1920x1080) even looong sessions and all settings is highest.
Also streaming that GTA Online from radeon settings to twitch working stable 60fps.
Thank you so much for great drivers.

Unfortunately not everyone is a vega owner so MSI afterburner is not always the option. for MacBook Pro, the culprit is VRM overheating when CPU and GPU both come into play. Smart CPU or Throttlestop won't do you much in heat reduction.

Thanks Matt. Mbpro 16inch here. January into August device manager into August setup worked for me too.
I also donated some contribution for your valuable work.
Also next week, I have genius bar appointment where I will be complaining a lot about the VRAM and the crazy throttling. I ll give an update on about that also.

One bug that I found with the latest RED drivers on my 5700XT is, when booting into windows my resolution is stretched and I always have to manually set it to 4k. Any solution to this?

Hi everyone ! i have a 2017 macbook pro 15inch with 560 pro, which driver should i install for the best performance ? if it's the blue one can i activate with this one the hardware accelerated gpu scheduling ? i have the blue april edition because the oldest red edition made me drop the fps, that's why I wonder if on this version of august, the red is better. Thank you My experience posted earlier with the same system configuration as yours, except I also have an external eGPU. bootcampdrivers.freeforums.net/post/6887RED works fine for me and improves frame rate, at least for me. Thank you ! but unfortunately i have not an eGPU , please someone else with the same configuration as me?

Any solution to this? eisenheim Do you have an iMac 5k display? If so, you should use Blue version because of that. If this is an eGPU then I'm not sure why this would happen.

Yers I have the 2020 iMac and I installed the RED drivers. Hmmm... dont know if I'll switch back to blue, since I only game and I thinnk the red one might be better for gaming... I'll wait for the next update for a fix - if it doesent come, I might change back to blue. Thanks for the answer tho!

Look at the posts on previous pages. Works fine if you update via device manager to August edition from January edition. I'm willing to give this a go, but will installing Aug drivers provide any meaningful boost in performance? that's my main driver for doing any of this, i'd like to get the PC games on the windows partition running as well as possible.
