The July edition is based on 19.7.2, and is a complete re-write from top to bottom (it's taken me 3 hours per driver package). Slowly releasing different packages for different Macs over the coming days. Changes are as follows: - Complete re-write from top to bottom, fixing a few bugs along the way.
- Improved support for Radeon VII eGPUs.
- Full support for the new RX 5700 eGPUs.
- Support for even more other eGPUs.
- Removed previous tweaks that used to improve performance and graphics as they no longer appear to have the desired effect within this version of the driver at least and it also improves compatibility.
- Support for the Vega 64X in this year's iMac Pro.
- Full iMac 4k support.
DownloadsA V2 - For iMac 4k & 5k 2014-2018, MacBook Pro (all versions except Vega), and Mac Pro - Download V2 Updated to include a fix for displaying and installing the wrong graphics settings for Pro 500 series graphics cards and the FirePro D300 B - For iMac 4k & 5k 2019 - DownloadC - For iMac Pro - DownloadD - For MacBook Pro with Vega AMD graphics cards - DownloadThank you and enjoy!

Mat! Thanks again for your hard work! Looking forward to giving these new drivers a shot, as I've recently reverted to 19.2.2 after experiencing issues with the June Drivers and 19.3.x
Any indications that the thermal throttling issues discussed in the other forum threads have been solved or mitigated in the July version?

I've made attempts to mitigate it so hopefully should be an improvement. Recommend you always use macsfancontrol if you don't have a t2 chip inside your mac.

-Frames seem to be improved (have yet to notice the core clock throttling) and heat management seems to be better. However, my temps are not getting as high either so maybe I need to do more stress testing to confirm and also try different games/benchmarks.
-Adrenaline is now the blue version, I'm assuming that's due to the the unnecessary features being removed. The only one I really miss is the frame rate control. Adrenaline software seems to chug a little bit and perform slowly compared to earlier driver versions, but that's not a huge deal.
-Adjusting gpu memory and gpu clock speed in Afterburner no longer works (doesn't stick when you accept changes), though adjusting core voltage still does. This is similar to how it worked back in 19.2.2.
Overall, so far very happy with the new drivers. Thank you for the improvements!

Hey Mat! Thanks for the update. I'll test this out to see if it fixes my throttling.

Hello Mat, I am running a 2019 MacBook with Vega 16, I did the DDU then went on to install July edition, when it was finished it prompted "no amd graphics driver is installed". Fairly new Windows (1903), am I missing something important before I install the driver?

thanks for the new drivers but my 560x in macpro is detected as pro 460. is it normal or? thanks Thats not normal no can you send me the graphics ID from device manager properties so I can see why its doing that. All i've done is merged the new drivers with the official apple ones so if its doing that I need to investigate further.

Hi Mat, unfortunately I am having issues with the July release for Vega MBPs.
The GPU clock seems to be stuck at idle/2D clock of 317 MHz for some reason. I have tried several games, as well as synthetic and compute benchmarks. I do not think it's a temperature issue as it is around 50C under load.
So currently on my Vega 20 MBP, only the official Apple BootCamp AMD drivers and Adrenaline 19.2.2 work perfectly (constant 1262 MHz core clock).
Adrenaline 19.3.1, 19.3.3, and June edition have erratic GPU clockspeed (bouncing between 317 and 1262 MHz)
Adrenaline July edition is simply stuck at 317 MHz.
I always safe mode DDU before each install.

Noticed a new bug. Computer will crash if booted up with an external display connected via Usb-C to HDMI. Plugging in the display after boot works fine. 460 Pro Macbook.
