Were you able to apply a core overclock with Afterburner or the Radeon Settings app? I have a stable +300 overclock on my Radeon Pro 570 in 19.3.3 through Wattman, don't particularly want to lose that. You'll never lose that. If it doesn't work for you in this release you can always redownload 19.3.3. Tamag901:
I cannot get a core clock change to stick in Afterburner (over or under), nor can I get a memory clock change to stick. My Adrenaline version is the blue (non-gaming version) for a 460 Pro, and this won't let me change clock speed either as Global Wattman settings are not available. Not sure if it will allow you to change things if you have the red (gaming) version in your July driver package for your gpu model (I couldn't get core clock or memory clock changes to stick in 19.2.2 either, and that had the red version of Adrenaline so I'm not sure if the version of Adrenaline is a factor here). Core clock changes were working in all the versions after 19.2.2 and up until the July version where they no longer stick. All of these versions had the red version of Adrenaline as well.
Regardless, since my primary issue was throttling of my GPU due to heat in the versions following 19.2.2, I am going to stick with the July drivers.
As an aside, is anyone else getting the crash when they try to boot with an external monitor connected?

Because I had to rewrite from scratch its missing a few settings a due to being the blue radeon Pro software instead of red gaming software for many users. I will sort this for the August edition.

Mac monitors don't support freesync. It might work for external monitors. Try turning on enhanced sync in AMD Radeon settings to improve issue with screen tearing.

Massive FPS loss in July edition drivers. GPU is definitely throttled this time. Can no longer push MacBook Pro i9/Vega 20 to what it used to be capable of in Boot Camp. Can’t go above 30fps during a battle in War Thunder at settings close to Movie preset. Dropping down to 15fps when looking around. Used to have 60fps all the time running Kirby’s Return to Dream Land at 5x native resolution in Dolphin Emulator, which is not a demanding game to run at all. Now those same settings net me to 40fps there in some areas. Performance regressions even happen in Citra 3DS emulator even with the Hardware Shaders off and using mainly the CPU to emulate.
It’s sad because a YouTube video showed a MacBook Pro in a very similar configuration was able to get 45-60fps in Battlefield 5 at ultra settings even when the custom Vega 16/20 drivers weren’t released yet. Now getting sustained performance like in these videos is nothing more than a dream with these drivers.
Screen recording performance with high framerate is important as I need footage for YouTube. This MacBook Pro is the only powerful machine in my house. Everything else I have can’t really cope with the games I play or need to be on minimum settings to get a playable framerate.
I’m gonna revert to the previous versions.

I'll try disabling power saving again for the august edition in the hope this alleviates the issue.

where is enhanced sync can you help I have the July 2019 blue pro 570 version and I don't see that setting at all? I'll re-enable the red adrenalin software for the next release which will allow these custom settings to be tweaked.

Hi, I have a Macbook Pro with a Core X egpu + Radeon VII, and I have noticed that with this version Wattman is completely gone, plus the possibility to have overclock settings for every game. Is this expected?
I am also getting the “Radeon pro” blue version of the drivers, btw, which seems to have less options compared to the “red” one

Sadly the new drivers are buggy with my iMac Pro + Vega 56.. Only tested in CoD Black Ops 4 but after like 2min my screen is full of triangles and eventually my Mac reboots. T° seems the same as with 19.3.3. Tried twice, same thing. Rolled back to 19.3.3, played as usual for hours, no problem. mat HD : I don't think it's related to your mods though, IIRC I had the exact same issue trying to manually install (browse INF, choose radeon 580) the may drivers already.

I could only find one for the Adrenalin drivers. They don’t even list Apple as one of the possible choices of manufacturers.
