^ My 2020 iMac 5700 XT experience is roughly the same as yours, currently not working. Red driver I get high fan speed/low fps (and split screen, but that's fixable). Red driver with the workaround method (install Bootcamp software, upgrade driver manually, install Red software) looks like it works, but crashes out of games constantly. Blue driver I get high fan speed/low fps. Blue driver workaround method, I get a weird stretched screen (my screen shows half the display, stretched horizontally). That said, the Bootcamp drivers (19.50) are pretty great for what's currently out there. In Passmark, DirectX 12 I get a score of 58fps in 4K, and 100fps or so in 1440p. I even get about 35fps in 5K. The real test will be when Cyberpunk 2077 comes out in a couple of months. If that's playable at 1440p, I'll be happy. As for bluetooth, works fine for me. If you go to the device manager do u even see a bluetooth device ?? if so which driver is it exactly for me it doesn't work

I had the same black screen issue but this method fixed it : « i did what the others recommended - i'm on 2019 16" MBP with 5500 (8gb), and had been running the Jan Blue drivers. did the update thru device manager to August, rebooted, installed August Red without factory reset, and it's working PERFECTLY - have tried in Tarkov, Destiny, and MS Flight Sim, all working great!! thank you, Mat - so happy to be on a new version finally, and can even play Hyper Scape now since that required Feb drivers as minimum! »

Nothing is working for me iMac 2020 5700 XT
Tried all methods now also install the base AMD drivers and update via device manager. Messes up my resolution constantly on the imac or second screen attached.
Or games will freeze after 1-2 minutes
I know Apple or AMD will never update those bootcamp drivers what a pain in the ass

I'll try it. You have updated to August blue edition using device manager and installed red one after that? (Without uninstalling the January blue one?)

I did some more testing this morning with the 2020 5700 XT with any configuration of methods I could think of.
With the "normal" install, both blue and red blast the fans and get about 15 FPS. So those are no go.
With the "install Apple software, manually update driver" methods, with either Red or Blue driver, and with both "follow-up with installing the Adrenalin software or don't install the Adrenalin software" (that second step makes no difference, as far as I can tell) I get the following (running DDU each time I try again):
Red: I get great FPS while running benchmarks in loops, no crashes. The benchmarks make it seem like everything is great. But every game I've tried crashes. Witcher 3 crashes within the first minute, either on its own or faster if I enter dialogue. Doom Eternal crashes in the menu. I've messed around with the quality with both of them (set to Low, turned off any special settings) and it always crashes nonetheless.
Blue: I've had two, inconsistent, scenarios each time I've tried. The first is: it stretches the resolution horizontally so only half the screen is visible. The other: it appears to work initially like the aforementioned Red, get high FPS (better than the Apple drivers, not as good as the Red drivers) in benchmarks. But the same crashing whenever I try to play games.
All that said, the FPS I'm getting with the Apple drivers are great with the 5700XT so no urgency. Doom Eternal, for instance, is getting me 60fps in 4K@Ultra, which, you know, is amazing for a brand new, high-intensity stress test. So I'm not complaining. Just offering my testing experience. Life is good, for now. But since the Red drivers, in benchmarks, are getting me ~5% better FPS, it's clear there are improvements that are achievable. And Doom Eternal "claims" to me that it can't use the 19.50 drivers (though clearly it can, when I say Play anyway) and one day a game might refuse to play without upgraded drivers.

I have used device manager to update to August version (blue edition) and after a reboot asked by the software, it works! I don't know if I need to install new Adrenalin Software now (Blue or Red). Thank you

Yes I can confirm macsfancontrol can’t see the fans and suggests an SMC reset.

Yes I can confirm macsfancontrol can’t see the fans and suggests an SMC reset. or it can be because mac fan control hasnt put support for iMac 2020 yet in the code .... just give it few weeks or so to get update and so. 2020 iMac is only i think 3 weeks old or so.

To finalise my findings Mat; - DDU in safe mode x3 - Boot back in to normal mode, and install the official AMD Bootcamp drivers - Don’t restart, and update through device manager to August Red. - Restart, and then install the Adrenalin August red software (don’t tick factory reset) - Everything works great. Mac Pro 7,1 - W5700X Yep, this currently works. When I get back home, will report if it works with my eGPU Would be great if someone would make a step by step tutorial youtube on this. would be helpful for the whole community !

The beta version of Macs Fan Control does work for the 2020 iMac.
