Installing 17.8.2 Xtreme V2 broke the brightness controls, but it looks like you are already aware of this (iMac 2017 / Windows 10). Just to be sure I rolled back to 17.7.2 and did a couple more clean installs, same issue. It also caused resolution issues in Warframe running as borderless fullscreen or fullscreen at 1440p (the image appeared to be stretched no matter what I changed).
I'm back on 17.7.2 for now and all is good.

Anyway I've alerted AMD to the issue (AGAIN) so hopefully we can get this resolved soon.

I am getting a windows "Host application has stopped responding" anytime I click on the Gaming tab of the driver panel. This is only once I've extended overclocking limits. I am on a 580 Pro. I have reinstalled these drivers a couple times with the same result. Any idea whats going on?

It's a bug caused by having to use an older Crimson settings application which is needed to get Wattman working on the Pro 500 series cards.

Having an odd issue with these drivers. Installed ok. Outlook and other office applications ribbon bar seems to go completely black until I scroll over it. When I restart the office application, the ribbon bar is fine for a few moments and then turns all black again. I have repaired office...did a clean install of the drivers for safety...same issue. Anyone else? This is on a macbook pro running via bootcamp: windows 10 build 16278.rs3_release170825-1441

probably a driver issue. try using 17.7.2 or 17.6.2 and see if the issue goes away

Admin ~, I completely removed the Parallels Desktop and it installed windows, but I am sorry that failed to solve my problem, windows installation is still completed after the error 173, or can not find amd graphics hardware ... ... .... Do you think I installed windows version of the relevant, or my version of the macOS about it, I tried windows 10 1703 and 1607, but can not, my macOS version is 10.13 beta, whether and this About it? Thank you very much。

My apologies if this really isn't the thread to discuss troubleshooting, but has anyone tried this with 17.8.2 by chance? I'm considering re-installing and attempting: community.amd.com/thread/184667 (search for "KMD_EnableBrightnessInterface2")

Still have mouse stuttering. Not sure what is meant by third party polling. It seems that as soon as I install the new drivers it instantly begins to stutter.
edit: on a MBP 2017 15" w/ 560

Haven’t tried safe mode, but I’m not sure what would be the culprit?
