The following changes are listed below. Each package is being made available as soon as it is uploaded. Should be complete by tomorrow (27th). - Still applying additional brightness control fixes to the driver for pre-2017 computers (as AMD still haven't fixed the issue). If the issue is affecting Radeon Pro 500 users also then please let me know and I will apply the same fix as a 'V2' release tomorrow.
- Disabled ULPS by default across Radeon Pro 500 cards and for the Windows 7 & legacy card packages. Provides a 5% performance improvement and should stop random down-clocking/ fps dropping issues reported by some Radeon Pro 500 series users.
Have a good day! UPDATE 27/8/17V2 now available of Crimson 17.8.2 for Radeon Pro 500 cards. The big change is that Radeon Wattman/Chill should now be available in Crimson settings when enabling overclocking via MSI Afterburner (see Read Me File with the download packages).

After installing the new drive for my Radeon pro 560, the windows UI becomes too laggy to use. Mouse stuttering that is. Wonder why is that

Wasn’t an issue with any other drivers, but every couple seconds the mouse freezes for a half a second. System is unusable in Windows currently. On the bright side, all my connectivity issues with my UltraFine 5K are gone! It even runs in full, native 5K; it seems like they made it properly stitch together two DP 1.2 signals judging by the 2 entries for the 5K panel in Radeon settings. Note, the mouse stuttering occurs both with and without the monitor connected. Edit: Also, it seems that if any overclock is applied (using afterburner), it locks my 560 to 214MHz GPU and 300MHz memory, regardless of if I’m in a 3D application or not.

From AMD release notes: "Mouse stuttering may be observed on some Radeon RX graphics products when Radeon WattMan is open and running in the background or other third party GPU information polling apps are running in the background. "

I've been working for few days on fps drops issue and I can confirm that the only solution that fixes it is to increase the 'power limit' in Radeon WattMan by 30% and turn on chill function. Could you add this function or whole WattMan in next realse? I have to stay on 17.6.2 version for now.
Much appreciated.

FPS using 17.8.2 too low to be playable on CoD IW. Went back to 17.7.2 and all is well.
Mac Pro (2013), Dual AMD D300s, latest Windows 10.

Admin, unfortunately, my 460 graphics card is still the error 173 tips。。。crying....I therefore re-installed the system, the previous 17.6.2 version can be installed, but 7.2 and 8.2 not, but now I 6.2 and 7.2 and 8.2 can not, all suggested error 173, but I can install 17.1.1 It's weird.

thanks for the feedback zzto. do you install any other software after doing the reinstall of the system? parallel desktop software in windows can cause problems for example.

Hi admin, I installed in the macs inside the parallels desktop 13 virtual machine software, but I did not install the windows in the bootcamp inside the software, will it affect it? I even installed in the bootcamp windows system does not install the bootcamp driver, the direct installation amd17.8.2 will show no amd hardware, I changed several win10.iso to install inside the bootcamp, but unfortunately not successful

Your best bet is to install windows via bootcamp and do it that way. Make sure you uninstall any parallels software on Windows side in bootcamp.
