Hi guys,
I've had this really weird issue for the last few months now and I'm not sure how to troubleshoot this.
About a couple hours into a gaming session (Cyberpunk, Apex Legends), if I minimize the game or close it, when I return to my desktop my computer suddenly becomes really, really slow. The mouse, windows animations, typing - everything kind of lags and stutters. Usually after I restart the computer, the issue goes away (until I get into another gaming session and the problem comes up again).
When I'm in a game, the FPS seems to be fine and regular gameplay is fine, but if I open up any sort of UI (like a menu), it also lags really badly. Here's what I'm running.

iMac 5k (2019) with 32GB ram (third party ram, not Apple's) Radeon Pro 580X 3.7GHZ 6-core i5
Windows 10 64bit March 2021 Blue Edition Drivers

I wanted to reach out to you guys for some help since this issue came up recently when I used 2021 drivers but maybe a year ago using older drivers everything was fine.
Thank you!

could it be that the game is still running even though you closed the game? Check task manager if you experience this after closing a game and see if the game is still running based on cpu usage. This happens sometimes to me when I play Rainbow Six Siege, and I have to force quit it from task manager to get it to fully close.
