I mean, you can try DDUing and installing other drivers. The latest Red drivers work the best.

I was able to play the game at 60 -70 fps medium 1080p and now I can't even get 60 fps at low. do you think this is a driver issue or something els. thanks in advance

is your computer maybe overheating ?? if not only i can think of is black ops cold war is odd because on my iMac 2020 with 5700 xt sometimes i get odd lags or i change settings but dont see anything better. So i think its has to be something with the game. last patch they did. Because Modern warfare works perfect by me with medium/high and 1440p without problems

It might be the VRM thermal throttling issue that all 16 inch macbook pros suffer from. You might need to purchase thermal pads and do the VRM thermal pad mod. There are plenty of guides on the internet regarding how to do this modification.

A recent update to BO:CW nags me for using an outdated driver (December 2020) but the game still runs fine—for now. Updating the driver is on the list.

I can also report issues with COD warzone. I used to be able to run stable 60-75fps on normal settings 1080 on external monitor. Since the latest update on both the drivers and the season 3 patch i get now severe throttling. (25/30 fps drops )
That's happening even though i have : - gizzly termal pads on the vrms - laptop cooler - quick CPU running at 2.4-.26 Ghz
and all temperatures at below 75 C.
I cant figure out what might be the problem ,i tried January - February - April 2021 drivers. I might have to go back to the Dec2020 to try.

Boom problem solved games run very smooth in 4K without any lag for hours of playtime I guess macs are just not designed for gaming.

Macbook pro 16 i9/5500 8gb unfortunately rolling back drivers isn't a solution (al least for me) and as @gamepro said probabily it's simply not build for gaming. indeed it's even true that the game (Warzone for me) it's optimized with the ass for same GPU and servers sucks
