Hi folks,
I hope I'm posting in the right place. This is the spec of the Mac I'm running Bootcamp on:
2.4GHz 8-core 9th-generation Intel Core i9 processor, Turbo Boost up to 5.0GHz AMD Radeon Pro 5600M with 8GB of HBM2 memory 64GB 2666MHz DDR4 memory
I'm running the Adrenalin Jan 2021 Blue Enterprise edition and I'm trying to connect an Oculus Quest via Oculus Link. With all the above I perhaps foolishly, with a lack of technical knowhow, figured this tricked-out Mac should be capable of running Oculus Link VR in Bootcamp (this is all about setting up Star Wars Squadrons in VR, see) but when I open the Oculus app it tells me my computer isn't powerful enough. It still runs, however, but it's a little bit glitchy. I haven't even looked at overclocking settings etc; it's not something I'm familiar with but the truly excellent how-to guide for installing Adrenalin from Mat HD mentions it at the bottom, but I haven't touched it yet because I thought I'd check first if there was even any point? I didn't want to potentially wreck anything by monkeying around if this was a lost cause. Is it a fools errand or can I finally fiy an X Wing in VR with my current rig?
If anyone can help Id really appreciate it. Thanks in advance for the time of anyone that can offer a suggestion. Apologies in advance if this is the wrong place for this thread.
