2019 MBP16 5500m is up and running on red and blue drivers. I settled on red as my final solution. I’m using the latest windows beta and the EFI fix for EGPUs. It seems like the guys that are having problems are on older versions (1903 or earlier) or perhaps using an older pci.sys. I tried using an older pci.sys and had the black screen and shutdowns. It seems like the old pci.sys is not compatible with the new drivers or newer versions of Windows. 5500 internal and 5700XT EGPU are performing well, thanks for your hard work. I couldn’t get the March drivers running, but Jan and Apr are both rock solid. can you give me the windows version? i am using latest version of windows stable

Blue edition work great on MacBook Pro 16 5500m here. Seem to be getting better sustained clocks with more power tool tweaks compared to January. Noticed the Blue edition installed red software, no bother to me rather have the red software not sure if it's a fluke or not haha. Thanks again Matt! Both and the red and the blue versions fail for my MBP16" 5500m 4GB. Screen turning black and system turning off upon trying to launch a full-screen game like most others here. From reading the thread it seems that these drivers have worked for some 5300m owners but no 5500m owners other than the one quoted here. He was using the "mistake" hybrid red/blue driver. Can the download link for that be put back up so we other 5500m owners can try it? Alternatively, themarkness do you have the installer still and could upload and share perhaps? I'm running the April (20.4.1) blue drivers, perfectly, just played Doom Eternal for about 2 days now, and rocket league and CS:Go and Deus Ex. I have a 16inch MBP, 5500M 4GB, 32Gig ram, and i9 2.3ghz, bought in Jan this year, I'm on Windows 10 Pro, build 18362.19h1_release.190318-1202, running Blue version. This blue was downloaded AFTER Mat fixed the links. The March versions never worked for me, went from Jan driver to April driver. my method for the 5500M on my MacBook Pro 16 - * Safe mode with option 4 * Run DDU 18.0.2.3 * Uninstall driver without restart x2 * Uninstall driver with restart x1 * When installing 20.4.1, check in advanced options, "Factory Reset" * Install OpenCL SDK I'm a software engineer, and I agree it's weird that a chunk of mbp16 have it work and others don't. But I can post a video of it working or provide any other data you need. I'd like to solve this. I promise I've never had any black screen type issues, in 3 or so days of playing regularly across a number of games.

Happy to say this driver installed fine on my 16" MBP with the 5500M 4GB, odd that it seems so hit and miss for people with 16" MBPs.

Here you go, easyupload.io/ec85sk that's the one from system32/drivers, however on a ls through my system I seen a few other copies with different sizes in various folders...

I don’t think the insider preview build is helpful, but it was something I tried early on last month as I was trying to get my egpu running for the first time. EFI is what fixed my problem. I can use all three graphics processors (intel 630, 5500 and 5700XT) in Windows after the fix. It’s not perfect, as I still have to hot plug the GPU at boot and reconnect after the login screen. This is the solution I’ve been able to get working.
