how did you and me get it from crash and reboot problems? with same video card I followed the instructions from the video. Ran DDU 3 times in safe mode and then AMD factory reset when installing the new drivers. Then ran the open CL installer, and rebooted. Can confirm after a few hours of game play that everything seems to be working correctly, and performance is great. No more random Doom Eternal crashes! Which version of windows are you running? mat yeah, same as the quote

Blue edition work great on MacBook Pro 16 5500m here. Seem to be getting better sustained clocks with more power tool tweaks compared to January. Noticed the Blue edition installed red software, no bother to me rather have the red software not sure if it's a fluke or not haha. Thanks again Matt! Oh Wow! The 5500M works with these drivers, what a win!! Well done mat, Look out for pizza/beer donation. Will send via PayPal!

this is the result with the drivers of January and April. December ones work great. Would you recommend leaving the drivers for December or updating with the official amd drivers until August? Stick with December edition unless AMD issue a new update in the meantime. this also happenes to me... i just start my bootcamp in Virtualbox / Vmware / paraleslls desktop and uninstall. I just tried now inside of bootcamp the amd cleanup utility i got better result with that tool insidea of DDU idk if its because of i install Red Drivers or it works better then DDU dont know for sure i will try again when i have blue drivers installed Edit: i used AMD clean software said should be in safe boot there it was all good and i used also DDU in safe mode. After that i tried again install the Blue Version and for some reason it went 100 % good no hang up or that screen after i installed just worked. Maybe there was something that was blocking or doing something behind in windows dunno but so far im happy with my install right now

Nothing does not work. The macbook crashes and restarts with black screen as soon as I try to start a game. Returned to January blue edition 2020

Returned to January blue edition 2020 Hey Maurizio, I'm running the April (20.4.1) drivers, perfectly, just played Doom Eternal for an hour. Pretty sure you can get this running. I'm on Windows 10 Pro, build 18362.19h1_release.190318-1202, running Blue version. my method for the 5500M on my MacBook Pro 16 - * Safe mode with option 4 * Run DDU 18.0.2.3 * Uninstall driver without restart x2 * Uninstall driver with restart x1 * When installing 20.4.1, check in advanced options, "Factory Reset" * Install OpenCL SDK That's it, hopefully helps mate.

Sadly, I must report my failure to get the Blue drivers working on a 16'' MBP 5300M 32gb.
What I tried:
Safe mode DDU and Safe mode AMD cleanup tool Install using "Factory reset" Install OpenCL SDK.
To the people that got that working on 16'': Any modifications done to the OS(like getting an eGPU to run with some modded files)? Last updated?
To be clear, my system crashes when connecting the eGPU or trying to run a game (with or without the eGPU)
HOWEVER
If I run a game in windowed mode, it does not crash

Returned to January blue edition 2020 I installed the April Red Drivers, have the same problem. Black screen and windows crash after launching AC Odissey. I’ve done DDU 3 times, installed the drivers with factory and installed OpenCL. Will try with the blue drivers. (MBP16” 5500M 8GB)

Got this exact same blue screen. 2019 iMac 27' i5 570x. Was my first attempt at installing bootcamp drivers. Had to reset Windows to factory as I was stuck in a boot loop - couldn't even get into safe mode. Would you recommend I try December? Thanks

I would recommend trying the one just called 'Adrenalin 2020' (which is actually December edition) - also ensure its blue edition.
