OK GUYS
you will not believe what i just did.
i have a macbook 16 with a 5500m 8GB on, i use an external screen MP59G BOOTCAMP WIN 10 - 2004 edition updated 2 days ago i had the january drivers blue installed. i downloaded the 20.5.1 from the website of AMD.
i started the EXE file, and extracted all files into the AMD directory in C:
i went into device manager, selected the graphics card 5500M, manually changed the driver, selected from the driver package in dir:
packages/display/wta6A_INF
there i selected the u0356013.inf file
and from the list of available cards i chose ASUS RADEON RX550 Series
then it installs the drivers.
i don't even have to restart the computer, the graphics go supersmooth, and i don't have the screen freezes anymore in WARZONE. gameplay is way better.
please try it out !

I registered only to answer this as i have strugled with getting the latest April driver to work. Using January Blue as i have a 16" 5300M Model. Started playing Red Dead Redemption 2 and the snow tracks are all screwy because of old driver and it warns every time i start it with a message saying update the driver. But this genuinely works!! And boy does it raise the FPS and stability of RDR2!! Thank you so much for posting!!

Could you be more precise on how you installed them ? Did you run ddu before ? When I select the wta6A_INF folder, then it says that the latest drivers are already installed.

When I select the wta6A_INF folder, then it says that the latest drivers are already installed. Any help ? -> Browse my computer for drivers —> Let Me Pick from a list of available drivers on my comp —-> have disk —-> browse ( the u035 file ) —> click ok —-> asus radeon rx550 Voila ( Dont DDU in safe mode and install this driver ) because now my mac cant boot *just use the original poster method* (( just tried this driver with OP’s method ( got great constant fps!) but i cant use Morepowertool (it doesnt detect the GPU with the asus driver) so im gonna revert back to jan drivers again(so i can lock the max gpu speed), but thanks OP for giving a great alternative! ))

Well here's what I experienced using these drivers : - A lot of annoying clock drops at 0Mhz - No improvement regarding GPU throttling, still happens as quickly as before

That's strange because I've had constant 60fps stability in Destiny 2 at mid-high settings w/ the latest radeon rx550 drivers, whereas before I was seeing consistent throttling.

I’m experiencing throttling when reaching the +80°C On GPU, playing AC Odissey. But the clock drops are something I never experienced and it was really annoying. So I’m back on January red V2.
