Hey. I have 2019 15" MBP Vega 20, 32gb RAM, 2.4 i9. Installed Red driver to fix glitch textures in COD, but after installing I've got fps drops in every game. It can be 60+fps and in the next second it's drops down to 10 or lower. Tried August 2019, Jan 2020 and now Mar 2020. How can I fix it? I don't have this drops with original bootcamp driver. Just wanna increase FPS and play COD without glitches. Thanks You can't, COD has a massive problem regards texture issues mainly on vega cards and on some nvidia cards since one patch in december.. trello.com/c/EiL3khg6/127-players-reported-corrupted-outlines-around-their-viewmodels-making-gameplay-difficult but at least the devs are on it... So far no workaround for this. My rig: 2017 MacBook Pro 2017 with vega 64 egpu, and on the March edition. Got it about COD. But with RED or Blue drivers I've got fps drops in every game. I can play World War Z, DayZ, Destiny 2 stable with standard AMD driver. With adrenaline I was waiting for increased FPS but now my FPS can be like this 80,60,50,5,3,60,40,4,50,14,5,3

Use MorePowerTool to limit power consumption

I've tried these and I'm still getting the blank screen/vertical colored lines crash consistently about 5 seconds upon landing on the login screen. I've had the same issue with the same releases and with the official drivers (19.3). 18.4 so far have been the only release that I can run but they're quite old. I've done the full uninstall, 3x DDU and official cleaner with a full install but it all leads to the same crash. Any idea how I can find out what's wrong?
Edit: I'm on a 2013 Mac Pro with the dual D700 setup.
Edit2: I did a forum search and found 2 more people with Dual D700 mac pro with the exact same issue. One of them mentioned they successfully reverted to your November-2019 and I followed their advice. It was successful so it seems whatever is causing the problem happened after that version. Mind you even when it crashes on the new driver, it still renders successfully for 4-5 seconds on the login screen before the vertical lines appear. I can tell that the driver loads correctly based on the night mode fade animation (it only triggers once on boot and it never triggers when there's a driver failure)

Unfortunately im still having this very strange issue where I open up the Epic games launcher I immediately get a crash. Makes it impossible to navigate through the launcher or update any games that have been purchased there. I'm not sure if this is an AMD issue with using an Egpu for the rx5700xt or if this is a BCD. i hace had this issue since the 2020 drivers were released. Unfortunately I'll have to go back to the November drivers again. I hope this gets fixed eventually. Id love to know if anyone else has experienced this issue.

Hey Mat hope you’re keeping well brother. Just wondering if you have had any progress on the 16inch with 20.3.1? I see 20.4.1 out, so maybe that might accept the tweaks and still work?!

2019 16” MBP with Pro 5500M dGPU and 5700XT eGPU. both run into same issue as mentioned before. Click on driver icon shows ‘no AMD driver installed’. Both card in Device manager have yellow sign.
Donated as a little thank you for your driver has saved me a lot of time and money.

Hello Mat HD First, thank you for being the that random dude on the internet that my entire gaming setup depends on I have MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2018) MacBookPro15,1 6-core i9, 32gb ram, vega 20 eGPU with Radeon VII Everything below is with the Red March drivers. Previously I had the January drives. Everything worked well except COD: Warzone kept crashing. Normal COD multiplayer worked ok, but Warzone would crash. This would happen in the Menus, wouldn't even get to in-game. I updated to the March drivers. Everything worked. COD: Warzone would make it a lot further, but still crashed a few min into the game. (menu issue fixed) Interesting issue was that frames would go from ~100 -> 80 -> 60 -> 100 -> 80 -> 60 repeatedly. Transitioning every .5 seconds or so. I tried trottlestop, in case it was CPU throttling issue, but that didn't do anything (I'm new to tool, perhaps I misconfigured). April 2nd I had Windows do an update, that broke eGPU. (error 12 in device manager, so device wouldn't start, and would not appear in Radeon settings. Vega 20 seemed ok, but I didn't try gaming) The update was KB4551762. I tried DDU + driver reinstall, didn't fix it. Rolled back update, everything works again. I'm a software developer, let me know if theres any logs you need, I will get them to you. I can re-install the update to re-break my setup if it helps. Below is link to screenshot of uninstalling update, which fixed everything, except COD imgur.com/a/0SdOIcC

I don't know what to do, I tried various drivers (for now i'm on official amd drivers)/throttleStop settings/MorePowerTool settings every day to reach comfortable gameplay in all games, but it's unplayable, even csgo runs very badly, fps drops to 40-60 and it feels really laggy. It's really annoying, that having such a good (in terms of tech characteristics) computer it's nearly impossible to play games. Seems like all these 3rd party software made situation worse. I've lost all remaining hope.

I've tried it on my iMac 5K 580x, seems to work fine so far, only major issue for now is that Windows detects two monitors (for each side of the screen). Fixed it temporarily by disabling the second one and setting the resolution for the first one to 4k(maximum).
