Well done Matt. You are a hero.
Hope you're feeling ok.
I'm happy to donate GBP, but do you take Monero? Easier than Paypal...
If not will send GBP.
By the way, for a 5500m in a 16 inch MBP, wanting to get best FPS in Doom Eternal, should I use blue ya?
Love from Ireland!

Blue edition gives you best fps but tbh not much in it. If you want additional gaming features go for the red edition it still works great.

Hello, Thanks for all the hard work you put in this. I have a question: I have a MacBook Pro 16" with a Radeon 5500m 4gb and I only use windows bootcamp for gaming. Would it be best to download the red driver or do I have to use the blue driver with my graphic card? EDIT: sorry I guess it is the same answer as above

Hey there! Just to update on how the install went on my MBP 16inch with the 5500M. I tried the red drivers as I mostly game and whilst the install went without problem, I booted into windows after the install finished and the AMD Radeon software panel is telling me that "No AMD graphics driver is installed...". More interestingly windows can see what the graphics card is in the device manager but it has disabled it saying "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)". I will redo the process and try the blue drivers, I will update you guys once I have finished the install Keep up the good work and well done Mat for doing a better and more thoughtful job than AMD and Apple have when it comes to support!

Update!
I tried the blue drivers and I had the exactly the same outcome unfortunately! I will wait to see how everyone else gets on with the same configuration but I personally didn't have any luck.
Thanks again Mat and thank you for your efforts and good luck to everyone else!

i'll have another look at it. probably doesn't like some of the settings from the pc driver.
Can you try installing by right-clicking on the INF file and see if you get any better results?

MBP 2019 16'' + Radeon 5700XT (Razer Core X)
Initial impressions (RED): Installation went good, no problems. Launched DOOM Eternal, but I didn't notice any significant FPS gain. Launched a few other games, everything seems to be ok.
What I am having trouble with is ReLive. Can't find it anywhere. Is there something additional I need to do to?

MBP 16-inch + Radeon 5500M
First I did clean and run DDU for 3 times, and then installation procedure went good without any problems, but after system reboot, the resolution obviously shows the installation did not succeed, and there is no Radeon Settings when right click desktop.
When right click "AMD Radeon 5500M" graphics and click "properties" under Device Manager, it says "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)". either RED or BLUE driver got this problem too.
Anyway Thanks Mat, this is my first post, really want to say thank you.

Another late update I tried doing the INF method on the red drivers and whilst it got windows to see the card again, it was the same issue again with the "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)." I have been trying everything on my end to sort this out just to make sure this wasn't user error because I know how hard you have been working on this but unfortunately, my experiences and what I have seen others posting leads me to believe that these new drivers do not work with the MBP 16 inch Good luck with everything and I will be here for any further help as you have been doing an amazing job and we are all in your debt for the work you have done for us!

Reading through the other fellas here's problems, I decided to try running my machine without the eGPU. Had the same issue as them (error 43) Any logging/information we can provide?

Thank you all for your feedback on the MBP 16. It could be a fundamental error in the firmware itself but I will do some more tweaks and see if I can resolve your code 43 issues. Stay tuned.
