Hey Matt (and everyone else),
Followed your instructions and got the latest driver installed but I keep getting the this error now every time I login:
"The System has detected a link failure and cannot set the requested resolution and refresh rate on your DisplayPort display. Your display might not support the requested resolution."
Here are my Specs: OS: Windows 10 GPU: AMD Radeon Pro 460 Display: LG UltraFine 5K
I followed the instructions to the letter when installing the driver. One possible deviation. I had my LG UltraFine 5K Display connected when I booted to Safe Mode. When I realized the Thunderbolt 3 drivers apparently don't work in Safe Mode I disconnected it and opened the lid on my Mac Book. I had to reboot back into Safe Mode at that point to finish the install. Wonder if it could be related? Anyone else encounter this issue?

Hey Matt,
I originally installed your "W10-x64-Crimson-ReLive-17.2.1-XG-bootcampdrivers[dot]com" package when I first experienced this issue. So I figured I'd try this again with the "W10-x64-Crimson-ReLive-17.2.1-bootcampdrivers[dot]com" package and this time I'd make sure the laptop was totally disconnected from all external peripherals. Driver install went off withotu a hitch but (again) the moment I connect my LG UltraFine 5 K display the error notification pops up. Its a nuisance but doesn't seem to be a deal-breaker because (as near as I can tell) everything looks to be working. The only other issue is I've fired up a few games and they seem to be mis-detecting my hardware as low end and setting quality to low but when I bump the settings back up they run fine. So (overall) a bit glitchy but usable.
Just wish I could fix this error popup ...

Hi Zeus. Yes this is a known issue with lg 5k. But the drivers themselves are very stable aside from this.

Hi all,
I am getting this same behavior with my 2 Dell UltraSharp U2715H 27" 2560x1440 monitors with my late 2016 macbook pro with the 460 card. I am running thunderbolt 3 to display port.
I am unable to select the correct resolution for the monitors (it's not even an option).
Any thoughts on what the deal might be with this? Happy to provide more details.

Try installing the driver with the monitors disconnected from the computer. Then reattach the monitor once restarted after driver installation.

Hey Mat, Thanks for the suggestion. I actually got it to work, but through a different means. I had a couple thunderbolt -> HDMI cables laying around that I used (instead of the thunderbolt -> Displayport that I was using). Fixed it immediately. I wonder if I just have bad (or uncertified) displayport cables? Not sure. Going to order some new ones and verify. Anyway, seems to work great in the right resolution now. Thanks for the great drivers btw. I more or less doubled my FPS due to the work y'all have done. I appreciate it! Now... if I can just stop hitting the windows button to do stuff while in Windows
