Hey everyone,
New to this, so sorry if I posted in the wrong place.
Looking for some advice. I've recently done the whole Bootcamp thing with my Mac Pro and I'm experiencing graphics card issues. Really low frame rates in stuff that by all accounts should be working fine - particularly with two cards!
I've installed all the latest drivers from this site and followed the instructions to the letter, which I thought had fixed the problem. But alas, it persists.
What it seems to be doing is only using one graphics card to do all the work, in spite of the fact the computer and the AMD settings application can see both. The first card is showing activity levels of up the 99% and the other card is basically sat idle. I've also adjusted the fan in the Mac to operate at full speed, just in case. Also, I've attempted to use it with/without Crossfire enabled - no luck there either.
Any advice regarding settings, installation etc. would be much appreciated.
Geoff.

Hi Geoff, Its possible that one of your graphics cards simply is not working? Or does it work in macOS? My drivers are crossfire compatible including for your d300.

Hi Mat,
Thanks for the prompt reply!
I believe they are both working - is there a way for me to check this in Mac OS and/or Windows?

UPDATE:
I think I've managed to test the graphics card and it does seem to be working in Mac OS - the system profiler told me it was using the second slot for my displays.
I also tried unplugging the extra two displays I have to see if it thought the card was 'occupied' on the Windows side - no such luck.
The drivers definitely work though, as you say. I've tried reducing the settings of the first card in the AMD app and the frame rate goes considerably lower.

I remember someone on another post possibly on this forum saying that crossfire only works in full screen and not windowed mode in bootcamp. Perhaps this is the problem?

I also installed the latest modified drivers for my Mac Pro 2013 with Firepro D500 and the performance is considerably worse than with the official bootcamp drivers. Both my GPUs and crossfire have been working with no issues since I've been using them with the normal driver. As soon as I installed the modified one it seems to not be using both GPUs. I'm not sure but maybe the problem is that the modified driver is not using the dedicated driver for Firepro GPUs: support.amd.com/en-us/download/workstation?os=Windows+10+-+64#pro-driver and is instead using the standard Radeon one. I will try to modify and install this one by myself but don't hold your breath. Edit: I won't be able to modify the driver myself because I can't digitally sign it, I don't have a certificate.

If by performance you mean opencl performance in work apps then you need to install the opencl sdk. If you mean graphics performance is worse then perhaps installing an older version of the modified drivers may be the solution. Ill upload version 17.1.2 tonight.

Hi everyone.
My configuration is: Win 10 Creators Edition, Crimson ReLive 17.5.2 installed. MacPro Late 2013 with D300 GPU's
My problem is i can't use hardware acceleration in any program. For ex. Mirillis Action or OBS Studio. I think its happens, because this programs don't recognize Fire Pro D300 cards. Several month ago, i used other bootcamps drivers by Remko. With Remko's drivers my D300 have recognized by Win as AMD Radeon R9 200 series (or something like this, can't remember exactly).
Have you any solutions for this ?
Thanks and sorry for my english
P.S. Crossfire in games worked, no problem with it
