I have a late 2015 iMac 27 Retina K5 with a 2TB fusion drive (with a AMD Radeon R9 M395 2GB). A week ago bootcamp suddenly stopped working after a Win 10 update. I was not able to repair Win. I read somewhere online that all I needed was to press Recover in Disk Utility, and Bootcamp would fix itself. It didn't So now I have one Macintosh HD partition and one OS X Base System Partition (200.52BG - about the size of the previous Bootcamp/Win partition). I have backed up everything and would like to try to set up a new Bootcamp (with Win update possibly disabled). But I seem to be unable to delete the OS X Base System partition, and am very uncertain as to how to proceed. Advise would be extremely welcome! Best, Tormod

Could you take a screenshot like so? Go into Disk Utility on OSX. Attachments:

Hi Jamiekorea, Thanks for answering. The situation is a little different, and probably a little worse now. Over the weekend a guy from AppleCare was helping me, and we got rid of the previous Bootcamp partition, but lost a lot of the space on the fusion drive. And he was not able to repartition or resize the Macintosh HD to the full size, nor did the Bootcamp Assistant allow the creation of a Bootcamp partition. I am sending you two screenshots - from Diskutil and from Terminal. I do not seem to be able to save them here (I was when I edited, so here they are). Best, Tormod Attachments:

tormod, I would strongly suggest asking your question over in the Boot Camp forum at Apple Support Communities. Loner T, who posts there, is a wizard at troubleshooting precisely this sort of problem. (I once had a similar issue attempting to recreate a Boot Camp partition I had removed. If I recall correctly, Loner T suggested resetting my NVRAM and SMC. That solved the problem in my case.)
