Hi, I spent two evenings trying to install the new driver on my mac without any result. I would like the present my issue to you. Maybe you have an Idea how to fix it.
I had already 17.10.3 installed and it worked pretty fine. Now I tried to install the 18.2.1 and later the 18.2.2 driver. So i uninstalled the driver and tried to install the new ones but there always is the error 1603. By reading the protocoll there is written all drivers are successfully installed except the AMD-Monitor Driver. I have already tried the solutions are described in the Read Me First!-File without any result. I have also tried to fix it by running DISM and SFC without any result.
Do you have an Idea?
Thanks a lot!

Please remove all old drivers from your C drive including any old folders and try it again.

Hi Mat, thanks for your advice! Now I removed all old versions of the driver from my desktop and evan the zip-files from the download folder. Unfortunately the same error appears again.

Yes. It's Windows 10 Pro Version 1709. The update service shows no more updates.

If that still didn't work make sure ddu is up to date and run it twice in safe mode before attempting to install again. Also make sure you've downloaded the correct package. There are a lot of reasons that can cause your error.

Hi Mat, amd uninstaller and ddu twice in safe mode did not fix the problem. Finaly I solved it by reseting Windows on my MBP. Now I have been able to install 18.2.2 :-). Actually the reason for me to update the AMD-Driver was my new screen. A Samsung C32hg70. By connecting it by USB-C to HDMI i have only 30 hz. By connecting it by USB-C to Display Port the screen freezes. Do you have an idea for the reason for it? I have installed the Samsung driver and the latest Bootcamp driver. Thanks!

it's probably a combination of Windows 10 and the adapter. basically Windows 10 is not the most usb-c friendly operating system and its particularly finicky with adapters.
