Hi,
i installed today the Crimson driver, after 2 hours my I Mac Pro started to flickers and generate yellow dots on the display. After 1 min flickering the display turn off. Is my graphic card dead? How can I fix that ?

It does sound like the graphics card is faulty. Does the display not come on at all anymore?

I would take it in to see an Apple genius to see if its the graphics card or if its a display connection issue.

Yes, the graphic card was too hot and then it was broken, because of the unofficial driver, i must wait now 3-4 weeks till they repair my iMac Pro. Please warn the people that the iMac pro driver can damage the hardware

Yes, the graphic card was too hot and then it was broken, because of the unofficial driver, i must wait now 3-4 weeks till they repair my iMac Pro. Please warn the people that the iMac pro driver can damage the hardware I am sorry that this has happened to you and you are indeed the first person ever who has had this experience after installing my driver. So please be assured that this is an extremely rare and unfortunate occurrence. Whilst the previous driver wasn't very reliable, it isn't responsible for cooling the graphics card. If the graphics card was getting too hot then its more likely because the fans were not working properly and not due to defective drivers. Thankfully the newer driver is a lot more reliable and is much less likely to cause any issues regardless.
