- Download Crimson 17.6.2 from the older downloads section (any version will be fine).
- Extract the package to your hard drive.
- Run 'Radeon Settings Fix' within the folder. This will install the older Crimson 17.6.2 software over the newer software, leaving the driver files intact. This older version has Radeon Chill & advanced settings capabilities (and potentially Wattman too if the software recognizes your core and memory clock speeds).
Enjoy!

Radeon Chill is still not showing up and Global Wattman still has the clock adjustment slider stuck in a non movable position (clocks not showing up). I'm on 17.7.2 XG with the overclocking instructions followed from the readme, but nothing has been overclocked, later (today) I applied this fix and rebooted. GPU & memory clocks show up fine on GPU-Z and MSI Afterburner, however inside the Radeon Settings they are "Not Available". I'm on 2017 iMac w/Pro 580.

The 'not available' issue on Core and Memory clocks is a known issue, caused by having to manually reimplement brightness controls. I am conducting further testing on this but ultimately we need AMD to re-implement brightness controls on their end.

Replace atiadlxy.dll and atiadlxx.dll from 17.6.2 in the 17.7.2 driver before doing the radeon settings downgrade and you'll be able to use wattman again. Note that while I've tested it a lot on 17.7.2 (games work fine and everything, and I had no crashes at all) I can't guarantee you won't have issues

Thanks for your help. Just to confirm, copy those 2 files found in the 17.6.2 driver package and overwrite the same 2 files in the C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\c0316391.inf_amd64_1b04257850509a05\B316285 folder? Then rerun the Radeon settings fix from the 17.6.2 download package?
