UPDATE 05/12/2016
Crimson 16.11.5 V2 now available for Windows 8.1.
This is a bug fix where the installer might not recognize a user's graphics card, hence not allowing display driver installation.
The installer was originally coded for Windows 7 and above, whereas the installer is now coded ONLY for Windows 8.1.
The following changes have been made...
- Dedicated driver created for the Macbook Pro 2016. Should install and run just fine now.
- Minor changes to 575 and 575B software device settings, which correspond with the M290 and M390 to bring it more up to date with PC AMD drivers. Doubt it will fix error 43 though.
- Removed the ability to accidentally install the standard Windows 10 driver on the Mac Pro which results in BSOD and system restore being triggered.
- Reenabled ULPS for the M370X in the Macbook Pro which should fix the black screen issue on installation for some and also provides battery-saving benefits.
- Crimson no longer alerts the user of a software update that they ultimately cannot install for Mac Pro users.
- Removed some unnecessary code in the Mac Pro driver.
Any issues please report them in the 'Troubleshooting' section of the forum.
Thanks and have a good day!
