I would like to play games at 1440p. I have an iMac 27" (2020) with a Radeon Pro 5700 XT.
As far as I know, the native screen resolution of my machine is 5120x2880. I naively imagine that running games at 2560x1440 would be the best compromise in terms of quality and performance (1 pixel in game = 2x2 pixels on the screen). I might be wrong.
Curiously, when I have a look at the advanced display settings, I can see that the active signal resolution is 3200x1800, and indeed at this resolution the display is very sharp.
When I switch to 2560x1440, the display is very blurry.
What would be the best screen resolution for playing games (i.e. the best trade off between quality and performance)? How should I configure Windows to run the games at 2560x1440 without any blur effect?
