I have the iMac 2020 with the 5700 xt and attached is a second monitor. After the installation of either the blue or red edition of the drivers I always end up with in total 3 Displays somehow. My iMac display the second dell display and 1 other inaccessible display is recognised. It still works BUT for example if you are in a game and go to fullscreen mode you can see that the windows arrangements on the second display is somehow messed up? Why is 1 additional screen generated after the driver installation? Anyway to fix this?

Anyway to fix this? on red drivers there is reason why 5K res doesnt work is because of two time controllers that are used to get 5K res . if you are on Blue this should not be happening.

Hey thanks but yes I am using the Red drivers but with 4k resolution settings and not 5K. yeah may res on red drivers are only 4K res cant get 5K because of how apple use the 5K display. If you really need that 5K res because of some things then you need to go blue verison

If you really need that 5K res because of some things then you need to go blue verison I'm not sure that I can understand the reason why, in the red version of the driver, we can't have access to the 5k resolution. Also, when I select the recommended screen resolution (native display I guess), which is 2560x2880, the display is stretched in a very weird way. Once again, with the blue version of the driver, we don't have such a problem. For a better game experience, what would be your best recommendation? - Use the blue version of the driver in 2560x2880 resolution, which is native - Use the red version of the driver in 3200x2800 resolution, which is not native What are the main differences between the red and blue versions for gaming? Just for clarification, thanks And a big thank for your work.

red has more options for gaming future like change profile and so on. and on blue is more enterprise so more like nothing or less to change and more used for 3d programms like autocad and so on if you want to game use Red and put your res to 3840x2160 to get no issue for dual display one and in games try like 1080p or 1440p but often you need to change grapich settings but test it

Hi, so if I use red drivers I have to live with this 2 screen bug? I'm using red driver because I use more the pc for gaming, and sometimes the presence of this second ghost screen makes some weird interaction with games (especially old ones) or when screenshooting the current screen (windows capture will make a capture with the two screens) I'm on a iMac 5k late-2020, so I understand that the only way to fix it is using the blue version, but for what I use the PC the red one is better. Is there any other way to fix this without changing drivers from red to blue?
Edit: I found the double screen fix and now I can do screen captures fine, it's still annoying having this ghost screen but until it bothers me more I guess I can just ignore it idk
