Hello, i was wondering if disabling BD Prochot was a good idea or if it was too risky. In my MBP16 with i9 and the 5500m i noticed that by forcing the minimum GPU clock in More Power Tool to let's say 1100 Mhz makes the CPU throttle to 800 Mhz. In Quick CPU i noticed that this triggers the IA-PROCHOT Event so by disabling BD Prochot i managed to completely remove the throttling. The computer works great, no throttling, high FPS and low CPU and GPU temps (around 80-85 degrees)... ...but what about the source of the BD Prochot? I don't know which sensor might be triggering it.
What do you think about it?
