Hi! I’m trying to use MPT to tweak my 5500m 8GB. I first increased the minimum clock value for gpu core(gfx), then click the write button. However, after reboot the core frequency still goes far below my set value, which happens when gpu is at only 75 degree. The only thing I know is that the lower frequency is not the result of thermal throttle since 1) my cpu temperature and power is far below the throttle threshold 2) My gpu throttle usually happens at 80 degree. It is highly possible that I used the MorePowerTool wrongly. Can anyone kindly point out how to increase the minimum gpu frequency? Thank you!
Also tomorrow I will try to repaste my macbook. I wonder if I need to do anything additionally after I reassemble the machine back and before I boot it on?

Hello der, All of us are having the same problem, if you read the other throttling posts you will see. In terms of MorePowerTool, I am not an expert on it but as far as I understand they only change the registry settings in windows. The curve which we do not have access to is still determining it - I assume. I have been trying to understand but it is not easy as it seems usually they use it with Wattman through the Radeon Software. If you find information about repaste, please share it with us also. I am thinking of doing the same.
