****WORK IN PROGRESS****
Suggestions are welcomed, I will be updating this thread whenever I find new information.
Link to my first ever guide <- Do NOT follow this one, it is very bad.
I've been a huge tweaker when it comes to Windows 10 and Bootcamp for the past two years of gaming on a Macbook Pro, only coming to a conclusion that 99.9 percent of all "performance boost" tweaks are mostly snake oil. So, all I do nowadays with my Windows 10 partition is just leave it be and try to maintain it as well as possible. I avoid listening to anyone on YouTube as most of them are unprofessional (ex. PANJNO PANJNO PANJNO!!!) and inaccurate to their sources. You also have to realize what you are tweaking IS NOT a normal Windows 10 laptop. You are tweaking a Macbook Pro for heavy gaming, and thus many of the "tweaks" shown on the internet may help for some people using gaming laptops and normal Windows laptops, but not for any Macbooks using Bootcamp and Apple hardware, which is by any means NOT meant for gaming.
Good Software / Tweaks:
MacsFanControl (Keep temps cool, I just turn the fan speed to the max all the time. 70 degrees celcius in-game, 30-40 idle.)
WinRAR
Wise Disk Cleaner
CCleaner (Portable)
Mouse/Keyboard software, but make sure to turn them off when you are not using them! For me it caused stuttering for GTA 5 and after I turned Razer Synapse off it was buttery smooth.
Boot Camp Drivers
Windows 10 Setup Script (Warning: This changes how your OS works and changes the looks of your system. Makes Windows 10 less-intrusive, please create restore point just in case you do not want the tweaks.)
Good Windows 10 Tweak Guide (Great guide by a trusted person.)
TweakHound's Guide (Best guide out there. Very honest and very accurate guide.)
TweakHound's Privacy Guide (Another great guide by TweakHound, focused more on your privacy.)
O&O ShutUp10 (Disables useless settings on Windows 10, use TweakHound's settings for the best privacy possible. <- my opinion)
Disable eye-candy for Windows 10 (Advanced System Settings -> Advanced -> Performance -> Settings -> Performance Options -> Visual Effects -> Adjust for best performance, Disable more eye-candy in Ease of Access settings.)
Disable all privacy settings except for microphone, background apps, and camera.
UPDATE: Removed some unnecessary to prevent over-tweaking.
BAD TWEAKS (AKA Most 3rd-Party Softwares):
Registry edits (Some are good, most are bad. Registry edits DO NOT increase performance.)
Razer Cortex (Bloatware)
AMD GPU Tweaks (RadeonMod, RadeonPro. Good softwares but dangerous to use for Macbooks.)
Disabling services (Some are okay, but many interfere with the OS and should not be disabled or it will cause problems in the future)
Defragging when you have SSD (Just really stupid.)
Timer Resolution
Any IOBIT Software (or other 3rd party softwares that claim to boost FPS)
Lowering desktop resolution. (just why?)
Disabling services. (Can interfere with Windows 10 feature, here's what TweakHound says.)
All Panjno videos/any unreliable YouTube source ever.
