I have a 2019 iMac with a Vega 48. I've been trying to install the Bootcamp Drivers (specifically the Adrenaline May 2021 Red Gaming Edition).
I followed all of the steps in the YouTube tutorial, but when I look at the "Display adapters" in the Device manager after following the steps, it still shows "Radeon Pro Vega 48" instead of the "AMD RADEON R9 M295X" that is showing in the YouTube tutorial.
The only thing I could think of that could be the issue is that when I'm in the Display Driver Uninstaller, and I'm checking the boxes in the options for AMD Specific Options, the "Remove the driver/filter AMDKMPFD (A backup is recommended for AMD chipset) is greyed out and unchecked. I can not check this box, but it's checked in the YouTube tutorial. Could this be the issue? Anyone know why the box is greyed out and won't let me check it?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Hallo so you have iMac with Vega 48 GPU if your device manger show that GPU then everything is working correct. The R9 M295X is the GPU the installation video is using. Why the AMDKMPFD ist grayed out is because you dont have amd chipset and since the new DDU ist grayed out. And no worries seems everything is correctly installed by you.

you have a vega 48, not a m295x. if you see your own vega 48 as the display adapter then you did it right.

Thank you both so much! I was confused, so I re-did the entire process a second time, but not in safe mode the second time lol. I hope that's alright. Either way I guess it would be best to just do it all over again in safe mode one more time.
