The microsoft office suite doesn't support hardware acceleration with my Macbook pro 16 with 5500m 8gb, supposedly becuase, according to my research, it's not in Microsoft's list of 'supported drivers'. Thus, scrolling in word and excel, even with the most basic documents, is very choppy. Obviously, the 'disable hardware acceleration' settings in office (options -> advanced -> general subheading -> 'disable hardware acceleration') is not present, because word refuses to enable it with the stock bootcamp drivers. I was hoping that installing these community drivers would fix the issue, but no luck. Has anyone found a way to force hardware acceleration in the office suite, or is there a paticular community graphics driver release on here that supports it. Currently, office is almost unusable for me in bootcamp (especially excel). ((( Thanks in advance for any replies
