I got a refurb 2013 MacPro6,1, and installed Windows 10 on it via BootCamp. Decided (as I have had a good experience overall with BootCampDrivers on my 2014 riMac) to install the drivers here. The latest ones resulted in multiple crashes, with a red screen (no text), or a pattern, freezes, and restarts. So, I reinstalled after several DDU runs, and the AMD de-installer tool. Then, I got a desktop that would not respond appropriately to mouse clicks. I could sometimes open things from the menu, but double clicking, etc, wouldn't launch anything.
I did end up installing the November 2019 drivers, and they seem to be working fine. No crashes, rock-solid in Windows 10.
My question-am I better off using those drivers, or, because BigSur was released more recently, should I stick with the stock BootCamp drivers that are installed with that? Is there a performance or management advantage either way? Seems the 2019 drivers know about the dual-GPUs, but have less management options than the later versions, at any rate
