Eagerly awaiting these. My wife just got 2020 iMac with the 5700 xt and the Windows drivers are a mess.
MacOS runs games decently but I've read Windows usually runs better with the proper drivers. Sadly I can't find anything that will even install under windows. All of them give Error 182, no supported graphic hardware.
Hoping this comes out soon. Thank you for your efforts and support.

MattHD, can you specifically address the throttling problem with the 2019 MBPs? Will these new drivers sort this out, or is this some sort of firmware problem that apple wont patch because this is bootcamp and not macos?? Look at my picture. This is everytime I game. The macbook will last about 20-30 minutes of gaming before the CPU and GPU clocks drop to nothing. This is not that bad actually. Normally its 300mhz for the GPU and 1300 (even seen 800mhz) for the CPU. People will spout off about undervolting and throttle stop and all these other software tricks that just delay the throttling maybe another hour. But eventually the performance slips off and this is what you get. The running theory is that the CPU/GPU are not throttling from thermals, but the VMRs that supply power to both chips are. They are pulling back power from both as the VRM temps go up. There dont seem to be any readable sensors for the VRMs so who knows. But thats the working theory. As you can see in my pic, this was from a single game of MW running 1920x1200 with only the textures maxed out. All other settings are at their lowest setting. The machine will play like that with 70-80% GPU usage and hold 60fps easy. Then as the minutes tick by, the clocks drop off and I get 30-40fps if Im lucky. Forget turning up any eyecandy in the game. What say you on this?? Attachments:

Yeah Mat, please could you look into the thermal throttling issue onMacbook Pro 2019's? My mac literally won't go up 300 mhz gpu clock, it's driving me nuts

In what way are you having trouble with drivers? I have the 2020 5700 XT, and I've been playing Witcher 3, Total War Warhammer 2, Doom Eternal, and The Outer Worlds all at 1440p/Ultra/8x and hitting 60fps. I haven't tried Horizon Zero Dawn yet, but my buddies with custom rigs (one with an RX 5700 XT and the other with a 2080 RTX) and both are having major issues with that game. Less a driver problem, more a HZD is a really flawed port to PC.

Awesome news that you're back Mat!
I am hoping for some improvement with my setup - Late 2019 16" MBP with 5600M, with 2 x 27" LG Ultrafine 5K monitors. In MacOS I am getting 5K resolution (5120x2880) on both monitors, but in Boot Camp (Windows 10 2004) with the current official drivers (19.50), only 4096x2304. This setup was working fine with my previous laptop in Boot Camp - Mid-2017 15" MBP w/ Radeon Pro 560... Using TB3 ports on opposite sides, no daisychaining, etc. Also reinstalled Windows 10 from scratch a second time. Ultimately I believe I'm physically set up right - otherwise I wouldn't be getting the resolution in MacOS.
Crossing my fingers!

Secondly, I also have a Mac Pro 7.1 (aka 2019) but with an AMD Pro Vega II Duo card. Anything I can share to help with the latest ones? I've had good success with most drivers so far, excited for the MSFS 2020 update in the latest AMD set. Best, RChav

I work with my Mac Pro 7,1, and bootcamp into windows to play warzone. Up until yesterday, I was using the January bootcamp.com drivers on the stock 580X. Absolutely everything was fine with the game (barring the mediocre performance). Yesterday, my W5700X arrived, and I removed the 580X, to install the W5700X in place of it. Booted into safe mode, uninstalled the January bootcamp.com drivers, and installed the April bootcamp.com drivers. It didn’t pick up the card. (Which I later found out from actually reading the release notes/compatibility list, the W5700X isn’t supported yet!). I then booted back into safe mode to uninstall the bootcamp.com drivers, and consequently installed the official AMD bootcamp drivers. This of course worked, and the W5700X was detected. Booted up warzone, and I was having all sorts of texture issues coming up. The terrain was looking like sand in places, the guns were impossible to use, as the scopes were completely black with patches of red, when you look down them. Rocks around the map have weird green squares on them. Just a whole host of texture issues which I’ve never seen before. I’ve uninstalled the game last night, and am currently downloading again, to see if a full reinstall of the game could help. Just have 11GB of the 120GB left to download. What sort of issues are you having with the card in warzone? I’ll keep you updated on my end.

Might I add further, reinstalling the game from fresh did not solve the unplayable texture issues.
The driver version I’m on is the latest official ones from AMD to support my W5700X card. V19.40.

Here is just a photo of my screen i took on iphone to give you an example of what my game textures look like imgur.com/a/gq1UDDwI found that lowering the graphics a tonne would stop the game from freezing. Still looks not the greatest, and I can currently see through most doors. Most scopes are unusable due to the textures

Very excited to try the new drivers. I got my new 2020 iMac with the 5700 XT. Using the default bootcamp GPU drivers most games already perform quite impressively, but I can’t help but feel more up-to-date RED drivers will really tap into the GPU’s potential. This was certainly the case for the 570 pro.
