Hi there,
I would like to know if there is any chance that the new Radeon Pro W5700X will be supported soon? I tried the installer, but it cannot find a compatible card. And the official drivers - though released in April - still contain some nasty bugs that would be fixed in the newer Adrenalin driver.
Thanks a lot!
Cheers!

Thanks for the update.
It seems a bit odd to me that the Adrenalin auto-detect software does not detect the W5700X as a compatible card though... maybe in one of the next versions.

Cheers! Hello first time commenter here :-D I just discovered this community for the exact same reason. I have a Mac Pro 7.1 for my business, but I like to PC game on the rig during downtime on windows. I've been successfully playing Call Of Duty Warzone on Windows using the w5700x, but my textures are all messed up and colours aren't quite right on certain textures. I will happily donate to the cause for w5700x support (I think its important to really support these types of communities). I will be watching with eager eyes hehe. Ill be testing some more games soon (battlefield 5, Doom eternal etc) Let me know if I can help contribute in any meaningful way. Specs: Mac Pro 2020 12 Core 3.3Ghz W5700X GPU - Running latest bootcamp drivers 48Gb ECC Ram Hi distress0r, I’ve been exactly in the same position as you since yesterday. I work with my Mac Pro 7,1, and bootcamp into windows to play warzone. Up until yesterday, I was using the January bootcamp.com drivers on the stock 580X. Absolutely everything was fine with the game (barring the mediocre performance). Yesterday, my W5700X arrived, and I removed the 580X, to install the W5700X in place of it. Booted into safe mode, uninstalled the January bootcamp.com drivers, and installed the April bootcamp.com drivers. It didn’t pick up the card. (Which I later found out from actually reading the release notes/compatibility list, the W5700X isn’t supported yet!). I then booted back into safe mode to uninstall the bootcamp.com drivers, and consequently installed the official AMD bootcamp drivers. This of course worked, and the W5700X was detected. Booted up warzone, and I was having all sorts of texture issues coming up. The terrain was looking like sand in places, the guns were impossible to use, as the scopes were completely black with patches of red, when you look down them. Rocks around the map have weird green squares on them. Just a whole host of texture issues which I’ve never seen before. I’ve uninstalled the game last night, and am currently downloading again, to see if a full reinstall of the game could help. Just have 11GB of the 120GB left to download. What sort of issues are you having with the card in warzone? I’ll keep you updated on my end.

Might I add further, reinstalling the game from fresh did not solve the unplayable texture issues.
The driver version I’m on is the latest official ones from AMD to support my W5700X card. V19.40.

I went through the full uninstall of the BootCamp provided drivers, and install process for the bootcampdrivers August pack on my 2019 Mac Pro with W5700X. Successfully got the updated drivers installed, but gaming performance was just awful - the frame rate in Microsoft FS2020 was less than half of what I can achieve using the Apple provided drivers.
Not sure if something went wrong along the way with my install (as far as I could see, everything went exactly as it should have according to the install video), but I have ended up reverting my system and am back playing via the Apple provided drivers for now.
Keen to understand if anyone else has had the same results?

Have you had a chance to test the W5700x drivers Mat just released? Im keen to give it a spin asap So I’ve been testing the drivers extensively. The red version is of course the preferred choice. Running the setup.exe from the red drivers won’t work. So you have to install it as follows: - Boot into safe mode - Run DDU (as per Mat’s video) 3 times. After the third time, restart. - Boot back into windows normally, and install the *official Apple bootcamp drivers*, via the setup file. Do not restart your computer. - Download Mat’s Red drivers, use 7Zip to extract them to a folder and call that folder ‘Red’. - Without restarting, go to Device Manager and under Display, right click on your graphics card (It should be identified as W5700X now), and click update driver. Search for drivers manually, and point it towards the folder ‘Red’. Keep the option ‘search within subfolders’ ticked. It should update the driver. - After this is done, before finally restarting, run the setup.exe from the folder ‘Red’, and make sure ‘Factory Reset’ is NOT checked. ———- Using these drivers, the rainbow textures problem is fixed for me within Warzone. I’m running the game on a 3840x1200 144Hz monitor. All the settings are on low, apart from texture quality (set to high). I’m getting around 100FPS. I was hoping for more. They game runs flawlessly. GPU temps around 85 degrees Celsius I’ve got the Mac Pro 7,1 - over 200GB RAM - 12 core Xeon - W5700X

Yes - I have revisited the install according to your Guide and am pleased to say that it worked well. The only issue I have now is with the Adrenalin control panel which just seems to crash whenever I open it up. The performance seems to have improved on FS2020 and I can see that I am now using the latest version of the drivers.
Thanks - and let me know if you have any ideas as to how I can rectify the Adrenalin software crash issue.

As you may or may not be aware, AMD just updated their bootcamp drivers for the W5700x. I have installed, and can confidently share it works really well. Getting much better performance now than before!
