I'm using the Apple AMD drivers on an i9 5500 4gb mac and I've been playing Warzone at 100fps+ I did do the vrm thermal pad mod although I already had good performance on the game. I tried several hacks to improve performance but it only made it worse.

Today I spent about 4 hours to read all messages which are relate to issue with Macbook Pro 16 5500M Throttle. And want to make some conclusions.
I can tell that the problem isn't only in hardware. I installed Windows 1903 via BootCamp six months ago, downloaded Blue January Drivers and didn't have any problems till october. I was playing Anno 1800 (Avg - 47FPS), CS:GO (Avg - 100+), RD2 (med graphics Avg - 39-41), Assassin Creed Oddessy (Avg - 40), Dayling Light (Avg - 42+), GTA 5 (Avg - 49+), Metro Exodus (Avg - 40) as a rule on high graphics settings in Full HD. My FPS was stable. Never went down more then 35FPS.
I decided to upgrade my system. Now I am on 2004 and official AMD drivers 20.10 (no differences between April, Ocober, Jan drivers) and have throttling everywhere. 2-5 mins about 1200mHz and then it's drope to 700-800mHz. Sometimes goes down for 1-3 secs to 500mHz and recover no normal 700mHz. Nothing helps me.
The only thing which can help you to improve FPS for 10-15% without doing anything in software is to use only right-side Thunderbolts for charger and accessories.

I tried several hacks to improve performance but it only made it worse. I am using the updated official AMD drivers and I also did the thermal pad mod, but I can barely reach 60 FPS in warzone. Was there anything else you did and what ports are you using on your MacBook Pro? I am struggling to figure out why my performance has not improved that much over not using the pads at all.

I normally use the left side for charging. I'm using "Fullscreen" mode on warzone.

I normally use the left side for charging. I'm using "Fullscreen" mode on warzone. That's odd... I am using the left side to charge and i have an adapter for my mouse and other USB devices. I restarted my computer and now i can get between 60 and 75 fps, but nowhere near 100. Maybe the november drivers will help, or maybe i just got unlucky. Like i said, I did the thermal pad mod and I think i did it correctly, and I have my computer on a stand so there's airflow. I am also running warzone at 1080p in fullscreen and all-low settings, so i don't know if that is the issue. Thanks for the reply!
