what's the correct way to fix april drivers causing blackscreen+restart on mbp16? any january edition? or should i use blue even for gaming? red january edition (only after doing the full ddu dance) fixed the problem completely, with april ones i'd never get more than 10 minutes in before blackscreen/restart

Hi Mat I too am on a MacPro 2013 but with dual D500. Mine goes blank screen background colour when it fails with little digital distortions. (I'm using a plain grey bkgnd at the moment). I can get the Jan20 Red to work for a fair bit before failure sometimes. Had FSX SteamEdition working for a good hour on max'd out settings no issues (other than expected FS issues). Going back to Decembers version for now I guess. I'm a first time user to your work. Thanks for this. I'll be donating. Seaniepie Hi Mat, thanks for all the effort. Unfortunately, both Red and Blue still don't work with MacPro 2013 Dual D700 Both installers drop to black screen, split second after I see restart button at the end of the installation.

Hallo everyone who read this im happy to report anyone who has Windows 10 2004 update using Blue Enterprise Version from Mat.And the problem with half screen of 27" inch iMac you can get rid of it when you go lower then the 5K res. so like using 2560x1440 or 4K res works i will let Mat know about the issue if he thinks he can fix it when he comes back I notice if i just change res in Windows settings doesnt work i have to go to advance settings for the display and change the adapter settings for screen 1 to 3840x2160 or go and 2560x1440 res because you need to change the active signal

I personally don't mind running stuff at just 4k because most things are not optimized at all to run at 5k in Windows 10

I had serious FPS drop issues and issues coming out of sleep on a 2019 Macbook Pro 16 inch regardless of what drivers I tried (Tried December, January, April Red and blue editions. Finally I found someone posted an interesting idea, which was to install the drivers but not run setup (effectively not installing the Adrenalin software, just the drivers) and oddly it solved ALL of my issues.FPS in Destiny 2 is now a steady 60 FPS at higher resolution and higher graphics settings on the April red drivers without Adrenalin installed. The only thing I have running is macfanspeed at max. Not sure why this helped, but just throwing it in here in case someone digs into this for a similar issue.

How do you install only the drivers without the software?

Wow, that's incredible, how to install Mat's driver without Adrenalin, please give us some tips. Many thanks~

The same way you would install them previously (run the DDU dance, boot into safe mode) but instead of running set up, go to device manager, right click on your video card, select update driver, than browse to manually select the driver and point to the folder you extracted the bootcampdrivers to.

Wow, cannot wait to try this method, April Red/Blue will cause black screen on my 16 inch MBP, will try it out. Thanks!!!

Thanks for providing the method, but April driver still made my 16 inch MBP get into black screen and crash. Tried Jan driver, FPS drops after a while as well. Mac Fans Control turned to full blast.

Damn wolfgang, was hoping that'd help you as well. Idk why you are having issues. You have the 8G or 4G 5500M Card? My setup is the 16inch i9 w/ 5500M and 4G graphics card. I have not had any black screen issues installing any of these drivers, however I did have serious fps drop issues up until doing that method of installing the driver. Going on several days now with 99% stability at 60fps in Destiny 2.

Maybe April's driver can fix this issue but April's driver will cause black screen + reboot on my machine. The only game I want to play is The Witcher 3, thinking about eGPU solution but that will cost another $1000, kinda expensive.
