I am running COD warzone on MacBook Pro 16 It seems that in COD warzone my fps is being powerlimited and that may be the problem. I was at mid 70’s FPS. But it went down do low 40’s after 20 mins My temps were cool being 67c for cpu and 71c for GPU. The base clock is 1000 for the Radeon 5500m 8gb But it was only giving around 550MHz Which if I understand correct because I am kind of a noob it is not being fed nearly enough power. Also when I first opened the game I was getting 85 fps with Around 1100MHz So I concluded that there was a correlation, and the gpu is being power limited Here’s the thing though How do we fix it? Hey! What Adrenaline drivers are you using ? Red or Blue ? Are you using Throttle Stop ?

Weird. Not seeing this on my 16 with 5500M
Played Doom and Rocket League and CS for hours without this issue.

Im having trouble to keep fps over 200 at 1080p all low settings It starts around 250,300 then gpu throttles and it goes down to 180,190 In COD its worse, fps drops half after couple minutes

Guys, ive found the solution (!all at your own risk!). You should dump a bios of you dgpu with GPU-Z, after it open with MorePowerTool and use custom setting for frequencies, voltage and power. I'll show you my settings for 5500m 4gb

I’m not using throttlestop.

Hi! I think I might try this out but just to be careful I wanted to make sure it works Did it change the clock speeds and make the game run better? Also could I just raise the minimum GFX frequency limit and be done?

It works but just need to adjust a bit lower I guess I had a fps drop after 5,10minutes but nothing compared to like before I mean just 10,20fps drop on cod before I had like 50,60 fps drops but man I tried in cs now it feels like a new game you should create a new topic and post there and Mat needs to pin at top but ofcourse again like he said just use at your own risk but hey im not overclocking lol just undervolting to keep that sheeeet stable (: U cant imagine how many thanks you are getting man thanks for the share thank god

You guys all know that having a game running at anything above 60 fps is pointless right ? you should V-Sync any 3D Game (game synchronizes with actual display refresh rate).
If a display 'refreshes' (or flickers) at 60 Hz, it displays a maximum of 60 images in one second, meaning that even though your game would be running at 500 FPS, you'd still see only 60 ACTUAL images every second. Furthermore, chances are that you'd experience tearing.
It doesn't apply if your MBP is connected to an external display that has a faster refresh rate though.
Personally, I limit my games at 50 FPS, it isn't as smooth as 60 FPS obviously, but it provides a smooth enough expeerience, and produces less heat and noise.

I will post the gpu graph

I'll show you my settings for 5500m 4gb OMG! thank you so much! It worked super well! all I did was raise the GTX minimum clock speed to 800 (and the SoC) and raise the voltage to 1150.
