Would it help to offer you an incentive, MatHD? Without the latest driver, the current CoD MW is unplayable due to consistent crashes to the desktop. Users fixed those bugs by updating to 20.2.2 (MBP 16 here). I'm just discovering that myself with Warzone... lovely!! Same MBP here...

Has anyone any advice for the fluctuating clock problems with MBP 16? Right now it is impossible to play any games, cause the GPU is either clocking only at half the clock speed or has constant micro clock drops which result in heavy stutter. I mean I cant even play CS:GO!?

I mean I cant even play CS:GO!? Hi Mate, I'm currently having same issues. The problem is, GPU suddenly dropping power draw from around 45-50w to 25w. Since last 2 days i've been watching MSi Afterburner stats. My conclusion is, if CPU draw power more than 35w, GPU will suddenly drop its power draw. So my workaround : I use Win10-Radeon-Software-Adrenalin-Jan2020-BootCamp-Blue-Edition I use ThrottleStop (8.70) to Set Multiplier 31 (Running 3100 Mhz). In TPL tab, i disable Turbo Boost Short Power Max. In TPL tab, i set Turbo Boost Long Power Max to 35 (i also uncheck clamp) These tricks give me stable 250-400 fps on de_inferno. Hey, can you post a screenshot of your settings in throttlestop? i tried many variations of settings, but nevertheless in csgo fps drops to even 80 fps, because gpu clocks are realy low (100-300mhz), due to csgo is not gpu eater at all. I tried to keep cpu below 30w (27-29w), but gpu can throttle anyway and i don't know how to deal with it. For example codmw warzone runs pretty good but sometimes gpu drops clocks and don't know why coz temps are ~78-80, cpu always <=30w.

Hello, I got my macbook pro 16" to run 200-300, with some drops to 160FPS by using MSonnys "workaround". I think the key is setting the multipiler to a low number ( i used 27 for 2700Mhz) this will make it easy for the laptop to maintain a temp around 70C +/ min 10C. Otherwise i have the same settings. Remember to activate Throttlestop, and not just have it on monitoring ( Doh!) I also use Macfan control, set top max speed for high-cooling. I still use the original Bootcamp gfxdriver.. maby thats is why i get lower FPS then MSonny.. I can take a screenshot i 40 min, just have to render something her in OSX.. BTW my CSGO settings are; 1280×960 with an aspect ratio of 4:3 using the Stretched, on a extern monitor. All is set to medium, but I think all could be on high without a problem.. Maybe start a CS:GO threat, and we can move the talk over there.?

I set multiplier at the lowest possible number and turned off Turbo Boost on main page of ThrottleStop. Macsfan is also used. For CSGO i think we need to load gpu by different application (cs on external and mb set it on borderless window and on mac's display open another game/any gpu demanded thing) while playing cs, just to be sure, that gpu is really do something. Haven't tried yet but i will.

Thanks for the advice! I already tried throttle stop, with extreme settings as well: I locked the multiplier to 15 (1,5Ghz) and the voltage offset to -250mV. The CPU uses 15W max. But still, the GPU will not go past the 30W mark.... Is there maybe a tool to undervolt the GPU?

Thanks for the detailed settings! I tried yours but no luck. GPU is now throttling at 25W.... Me (not) playing BF5... ibb.co/6YzhRPw

Seems like the main problem in most cases is GPU only drawing 25W. I tried disabling Turbo for CPU in ThrottleStop here are the screenshots snipboard.io/ZP4W3K.jpgsnipboard.io/aG8UW5.jpgCan you do screenshots in the city (train station) or in the prejumping intro cutscene? and what are your settings? 100% screenscale? full hd? In some places i also have a lot of fps (gulag) but mostly i have like 60-70 fps. I tried red version of drivers, but it frequently crashes after i open codmw. Installed blue drivers, 0 improvements in fps, but no hangs

Thanks! What's your gpu clocks in r6? I always have like 600mhz no matter what, which is not well for me and my fps. Do you red drivers hang after playing cod (+warzone) or other games because it always happens? And you're playing without bottom case and with cooling pad, aren't you? If so, then it's not usable =/ or just keep cpu below 3.0-3.4 for example

ULPS in afterburner, right? it's disabled by default. hm, okay, thanks, i'll try that settings. is it necessary?
