Hello everyone,
I have a Mac Mini 2018 with an eGPU running a Radeon Vega 64 on Boot Camp. I have installed and successfully use AMD drivers downloaded from the AMD website.
So my question follows the about page info: "Official AMD PC drivers are not compatible with Mac versions of the graphics cards by default, leaving Boot Camp users stuck with dated and poorly optimized drivers that are not compatible with the latest games." Does this only refer to the internal graphics cards that come with Macs?
If so, is there any advantage with installing the BootCampDrivers.com version of the drivers for external GPUs?
So in short, why would I wanna install and run drivers from BootCampDrivers.com?
Also, what's the difference between Red and Blue?
Thanks for helping a n00b.

The quote refers to internal mac graphics cards. These drivers are for those users and also who may wish to use egpus alongside them. Given that you only have integrated graphics alongside a standard egpu, these drivers aren't necessary. The only exception to this is if you wanted to use a blackmagic egpu, which isn't supported in standard amd drivers. Hope this helps.
