I'm trying to play Overwatch on my new MBP with Radeon Pro 5500M 4GB and it feels really laggy even on the lowest settings. I successfully installed Adrenalin 2020 Red Edition which finally lets me do less-than-native resolutions in full screen (thanks!). I was hoping a lower resolution would help with the lag but it doesn't. Overwatch is barely playable even on the lowest resolution with low quality. The weird thing is that Overwatch says its hitting 70 FPS without issue. It never drops. And AMD's metrics tools show the same. It seems like the computer isn't working very hard, yet the game looks like shit. I'm wondering if it might have something to do with using a Bluetooth mouse. Maybe the BootCamp Bluetooth drivers are bad and are degrading performance? Anyone know what might be going on?
Thanks!

Can you try the blue edition drivers to see if it's there on that version?

Hello,
I am having the same problem with my MacBook Pro 15" (2019). I had been able to run Overwatch and several other games (Assassin's Creed) with solid performance, but then when I came back to OW after a long time away it was super laggy, as if frames were dropping. However, the fps counter was hovering around 60 fps, which wasn't what I was seeing. I then upgraded from Blue 2020 (October?) to Red May 2021 and updated Windows 10 to the version 20H2 (don't recall what it had been before). Same problem after both updates when smoothly. I ran a test via the AMD software and it showed and fps of 62 following a very stuttery Overwatch game. As far as I can tell other Windows operations seem normal and not laggy.
Any suggestions?
My Mac is a MacBook Pro (2019) with 2.3 GHz 8-core i9, 16 GB 2400 MHz DDR4 and a Radeon Pro Vega 20 GPU, running Windows 10 v. 20H2 and Red May 2021 driver.
Thanks.

I'm answering my own question here, but I may have found the answer. It looks like a few of the recent Windows updates (20H2, early 2021) have caused problems with in-game stuttering for a large number of users. There appear to be two solutions. One is to revert to an older system version, if still available. The second is to wait until the issue is patched in an upcoming update, expected in late June 2021.
You can find articles on the problem by searching on terms like "Windows 10 update game stutter" and the like.
