Hi Mat. Thanks for your great work here. We truly hope that you can do something to enable the 5500M/5300M CLOCK ADJUSTMENTS.

What version do you recommend for a 16 MBP with a 5500m 8GB and a egpu 5700 xt via a Razer core.
I was on Windows 10 1903 and it worked fine with the November drivers.
Tried red v1 and broke my boot camp and couldn’t get back in. Don’t want to try again without advise.

Try installing the driver with your eGPU disconnected. Also ensure you run DDU at least three times.

did anyone get imac 5k display to work with freesync or did apple not add it? It isn't supported on many mac displays. I am using a 5K iMac but I have an external Freesync monitor connected to an eGPU. From my experience the 5K display does not support Freesync. You can use the eGPU as the graphics card used by games when using the internal display (although performance seems poorer than when playing on an external monitor). It's cool to play strategy games in 5K with an external AMD card.

I have a Macbook Pro 2017 15" with a 4gs 560 Pro I just bought a razor core x + a rx590 with 8gs of ram. there is no way to get the new 2020 drivers to work because I always get the error 205. AMD is providing a solution but unfortunately it does not work. any recommendations on that?

Hi Mat,
I'm getting the infinite detection issue with this release. AMD installer is saying "Detecting your system configuration for driver and software compatibility" forever.
On a mid-2014 MBP with an RX580 eGPU. Ran DDU so now Windows is detecting my RX 580 as a Microsoft Basic Display Adapter.
Is this a situation with the AMD installer not detecting the eGPU?
Thanks!

Also regarding this: Yes I did try turning on Anti-Lag, Chill, Enhanced Sync etc (but not VSync in R6S cuz M370X might not be able to handle), and found that I was getting much worser performance with *any* of them turned on compared to all of them turned off. Maybe try December edition available in one of the sticky posts? I've tried the December edition and it's been way better than November and 2020 drivers, but still has slight microstuttering. Very slight though, not sure if it's because I cannot achieve 60fps constantly (45-60fps range usually, unless my drone is in the grass xD), or because of the drivers. Does the December edition also include Apple's December Boot Camp driver update changes too for M370X? Unsure if the "microstuttering fix" included in your December edition is a fix made by AMD, Apple or yourself. Thanks Mat for the amazing work!

if apple added freesync it would have been so cool. I imagine that a 5k IPS display needs a LOT of horsepower under the hood to have Freesync at that resolution. The display's response rate is pretty high compared to the 1ms response time most Freesync displays have nowadays (at around 5-7 ms I believe), so that would have to be worked out before adding Freesync altogether. It is a display with performance extended for creative work, not rapid gaming movement clarity.
I am much more fascinated about how good classic CRT monitors are with modern games and PCs and how they might be having a small comeback.

Mat, Should I update to Apple's latest Bootcamp driver update before updating to your Red Adrenaline 2020 edition? Ordinarily I'd just update yours, but I saw this in your original post in this thread; "One driver package for everyone, based on Apple's recent BootCamp update"..
Thanks mate! Nick

Would be nice to know as well if people have chosen the red, gaming, or blue, pro from the new drivers? I have tried both on my MBP 16 and found the blue one much faster in benchmarks/games. Anyone? Cheers!
