I've been tweaking my system every since I got a 2015 13inch MBP, and about the time I started to play competitive games like CSGO, where fps really mattered. As time went by I went for more bold, stupid tweaks like regedit tweaks thinking that it would increase my overall fps somehow. After 3 years of reinstalling Windows 10 over and over again (probably about 200+ times, serious) I have come to the conclusion that the less tweaks you do to your computer, the more it benefits. So that means all registry "gaming" tweaks out there almost always do not work, and most of them are just snakeoil and do not make sense at all. What I recommend you doing is in my tweaking Windows 10 guide here: bootcampdrivers.freeforums.net/thread/453/tweaking-windows-gaming-most-lastJust remember, default is best. Apple is smarter than you and so are the developers of Windows 10. Any questions you have reply here or email me to jamieckorea@gmail.com. Farewell! (ill still be semi-active tho) thx mat

Yes Apple is very smart to sell a laptop with the Pro name and engineer a crap heat dissipation solution (a single shared heat sink for both the CPU and GPU!) But I agree, most of these tweaks are bullshit, only thing I found useful was under clocking the CPU using windows power options to bring overall temps down so the thermal throttling would be delayed to the point where it won’t happen midst a 2 hour long gaming or working session.
