Update: V3 now available.
- Bug fixes & under-the-hood changes to try to better match 18.2.2 in certain areas in an attempt to restore internal and external monitors both working at the same time.
- Improved support for BlackMagic eGPU Pro with Vega 56.
- Merged the Vega 16 & Vega 20 drivers for the MacBook Pros into the main driver package (no longer a need to download the separate driver). This also means drivers for eGPUs can now be installed with this driver package at the same time!
Update: V2 now available with support for the BlackMagic eGPU Pro with Vega 56! Includes all the changes from version 19.1.1. Available for all modern Macs. Please note: Some users may find the Radeon software is blue instead of red, which doesn't feature Wattman amongst other features. This is so that the iMac 5k with Radeon Pro 500 series graphics cards can correctly display 5k resolution. Downgrade to 18.8.2 to avoid using the blue software. October update of Windows 10 or newer is also required. Vega 16 & Vega 20 driver package also will not install drivers for eGPUs yet. This will come in a future update.

Thanks Mat! I will try the driver now, my weekend just started. Sorry for bugging you about this again Mat, but could you release a overclock-enabled driver for iMac Pro? 5K resolution isn't really useable in Windows, because a lot of Windows applications don't support it properly, so it's better to use 1440p or 4k instead anyway. I haven't tested this driver yet, but if AMD is able to fix the GPU temp issue again (which I assume they will), there's plenty of thermal headroom in the iMac Pro now, and potential for some decent performance improvement via overclocking. Thanks for the drivers!

Thanks for the drivers! Overclocking capabilities can only be enabled if AMD specifically support the feature in the driver for the graphics card in question. I've already triggered the registry to enable overclocking in the iMac Pro driver. If it still doesn't work then there isn't much I can do.

Mike I do t really think pushing your device to the limit is good for its longevity, plus what’s the difference between 70 and 75 fps? Thanks Mat! I will try the driver now, my weekend just started. OK, now I understand. Well, as expected overclocking doesn't work.
The GPU temperature is still high with 19.1.2, but I do notice a slight performance boost compared to 18.10.2 - probably about 4-5%, so I'll keep using these drivers for now. 18.10.2 is still a good alternative for cooler GPU and silent gaming, though. Definitely worth having available on your website.
Anyways, thanks again. Have a good weekend!

Thanks for all your hard work Mat,
On a base level iMac Pro + Vega56 (with driver 19.1.2 V2) - PUBG experienced intermittent yet massive FPS drops, it would freeze on a frame for 1/5th of a second and then be at ~25-30fps for around 2seconds before returning to a rock solid capped 60fps (@ 3200x1800). This would happen every so often maybe once every 3 minutes and didn't seem to be tied to complexity of the scene. The game also crashed once. None of these issues were experienced with my previous driver build (18.10.1) with all the same settings (except for a recent windows update which I performed with the new driver install). Returning to 18.10.1 for now to see if the issue is 100% resolved.

I honestly do not get the deal with people playing games at a resolution higher than 1080p, especially when one knows the limitation of Apple products, especially their computers.

After 18.12.2/3 the hotter GPU is back again, so in 19.1.2 the GPU will constantly hit 90-100C if the GPU usage is 100% (especially when running a game in high resolution). My best advice is to set the fans at static 2500rpm in macOS with Macs Fan Control, which gives you less throttling. However, the FPS drop seems too big for GPU throttling, but it's worth a try.

On my MBPr 2018 and even my old 2015 MBPr I would intentionally drop the display to at least 1920 X 1200 in games. Any time I left the display to native, it would cause massive FPS drops. I haven't updated the drivers to the latest edition that Matt uploaded so I cant put my name in any hat in regards to this issue, but I just wanted to add my two cents as well

But people do have to realize that he’s running on a VEGA 56 right?! I mean that card is on par of a GTX 1070 at least. You expect to run everything better than 1440p when you have that kind of performance. It’s way beyond a RX 580

Thanks! Adrenalin 19.1.2 V2 works fine on iMac 27' 2017 Radeon Pro 580.

I can't even view GPU stats on my Vega 20 card. No GPU usage, MHz, etc. Is it possible to enable any of that?

Mat, you outdone yourself again. I dont know why, but v18 had a blue radeon software and this one a red again. I still dont know the difference, thought blue was better but you said it missed a lot of features.
Anyways, on my cinebench score i went up some hefty 23fps. Blue v18 had 92 fps, red v19 has 114.99 fps.
Thanks for this!
