Has anyone managed to get any version (old or current) of the amd BootCampDrivers available for the 2018 macbooks (Polaris) to work with cemu and mario kart 8?
Cemu is a Wii U emulator, and there were known issue with amd stock drivers and the older Fiji (R9 Fury) cards when trying to play mario kart 8. Apparantly the issue was fixed both by cemu and AMD stock drivers
But as we use none official drivers here, im not sure where the issue is.
I've updated to both the latest verison of cemu and bcd version of the AMD drivers. Game still crashes. Have tried the various workarounds about loading Forza demo in the background or turning off separable shaders.
Admin: Sorry I don't know if i am allowed to include a link here to cemu's own forum regarding the issue

.what version of windows are you using....does any other game work with the emulator on your device ?..the sega europa emulator i sometimes use requires specific amd fixes for games like sega rally 3 and mario kart dx....i got it to run once..the very first time i set it up but since then it crashed my machine so what i did was get the cemu emulator download again, put the controller profile the key file and the game in it, then renamed the whole cemu file from cemu_1.14.0 to something random ran it again, and it worked the first time only as before..so it seems that the emulator is writing bad data to some where on the first play then reading it from the second play onwards triggering the crashes

Can you try 18.10.1 with the different workaround method of installation and see if cemu still crashes for you? I'd need to isolate the issue down to see if it's something to do with any tweaks I'm making or whether its a driver firmware issue (which can only be fixed by AMD).

Is it possible to download an old graphic card driver from bootcampdrivers.com?
On my first MacBook Pro 2018 I had installed Bootcamp with Version 17.xx.x. and Mario Kart 8 works great. After a hardware crash I got a new MacBook Pro 2018 and now I only can install Version 18.xx.x. an Mario Kart didn't work.
So if it would be possible to download certificated Drivers from Version 17.xx.x it would work

spookysniper101 thanks for your answer. But on my MacBook Pro 2018 i can`t install the Version 18.2.2. I have Windows 10 installed. Certifcate is also installed. I've successfully uninstalled the old drivers in safe mode, but now when I run Setup.exe I get an "Error 182 - AMD Installer cannot properly identify the AMD graphics hardware."

Sorry haven't replied for a while, kinda gave up on the issue, but decided to revisit it. Have recently tried cemu 1.15.0e with bootcamp drivers 18.11.1.
Mario Kart 8 still crashes on the bootscreen of the game (I can hear the sound of the cars racing past, but the FPS is 0, and the picture isn't changing).
Other games like Super Smash Brothers work.
I am running Windows 10 (all the latest updates). 15 inch MacBook Pro (2018 model) with AMD 560X 4GB

The guys over at cemu, tell me Vega graphics don't work with Mario Kart. Still no word if macbook polaris cards are or are not suppoose to work with Mario Kart. Normal PC Polaris cards do work with Mario Kart.
Still unsure if the issue is the cemu emulator, or something with the graphics drivers for AMD cards in Apple computers.
It's so annoying that Apple have not updated the stock drivers in so long/ever.

as a last roll of the dice, you could maybe try running the emulator on osx under WINE

Finally managed to get Mario Kart 8 to work with cemu 1.15.0e and bootcamp drivers 18.12.3 V3.
Performances is a flaky, and I've not tried playing the game for any prolong period yet, was just so excited to get this working on Christmas Eve, gonna be a fun xmas now.
Have made a small donation to show my appreciation.
