Anyone able to successfully get Assassin's Creed Odyssey to load in boot camp running windows 10? I'm running the latest AMD drivers from here (thanks Mat!). Specs on my machine are Macbook Pro 15" 2018 touchbar, 2.9 ghz intel core i9 processor, 32 gb 2400 MHz DDR4 memory.
I have the game installed through steam on my c drive. Every which way i try to boot it up (through steam or uplay, with the exe in the location of the game, with admin privileges, etc.) it fails to load. I get to a splash screen, and then everything freezes. When i alt-tab out, and look at gpu usage, it doesn't look like the game is using the GPU at all. No error file is compiled. Just a second window that is all black called "assassin's creed" in the gpu usage monitor i have to force quite to be able to do anything again.
I'm led to believe from forums i've perused that Assassin's Creed Origins has the same problem.
Anyone had any luck with this one?
Thanks.

Origins I got to work by installing onto my external hard drive instead. Maybe Odyssey has the same workaround if the issue is the same.

I have an imac 5k 2017 with the gpu radeon 580 and I had installed the drivers 18.8.2, but with this game I could not play full screen so I installed the drivers 18.3.4 and without problems. I think the problem is "amd eyefinity" that could not be activated since it does not appear in the configuration. Sorry for my English. Thanks Mat for your hard work.

Try installing patch 1.0.3 if you haven't already. Apparently the game wouldn't load for people with certain CPUs, and this was fixed with 1.0.3. Additionally, I had a lot of hassle getting Assassin's Creed Odyssey to load in 1080p full screen (as mentioned by previous poster). I also have an iMac 2017. I had to mess with Eyefinity and put Windows in 1080p before loading the game. Once I got the game set to 1080p, I could then change my Windows desktop resolution back. I put up a post on the Assassin's Creed Odyssey forum, just in case it helped anyone: forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/1941546-iMac-5K-display-letterboxing-issue-(Bootcamp-Windows-10-AMD-Radeon-Pro-580)
