Confirmed fully working on Vega 64, though Vega 56 reports Code 43 error in device manager in early feedback tests. This requires you to uninstall the old Apple driver first with DDU. You can get them back with BootCamp Assistant in MacOS. Let me know you get on (and which Vega card you have of course!). Many thanks for your feedback. DOWNLOAD 18.8.2

Hi Mat, I'm a bit busy with work right now, but I'll get around to test this driver soon (probably tomorrow). Of course, if anyone else can?
Thanks!

Just for info! It is not working!
Tried on iMac Pro with Vega 56 and 64. Made also a clean install on both machines for second try and still not working. Both times I get Code 43. Windows 10 x64 RS4 Build 1803.

It works fine here (iMac Pro w/Vega 64). Installation worked perfectly. When rebooting after installation, it took the machine an extra 20-30 seconds to respond (black screen before rebooting), but that's it.
This driver is almost too good to be true, scratching my head here. I updated from Apple's official Bootcamp driver based upon Adrenalin 17.12 (other earlier 18.X.X drivers didn't perform as well in Witcher 3). I tested Kingdom Come Deliverance and Witcher 3. With a framerate in the 50s in KCD, I gained about 5 fps. In Witcher 3 I lost about the same (AMD is less good at maintaining optimisations with older games than Nvidia).
The big thing here is the GPU temperature. With the fans static @2500rpm, in KCD the temp would almost immediately get into the mid 90s Celcius, but now it stays in the low 70s (71-75 C). Same with Witcher 3, GPU temp is about 20 Celcius lower. I played for a while (5-10 minutes), to make sure the temperature did not rise further. I've seen previous Adrenaline drivers running slightly hotter or cooler, but this is rather extreme. Obivously, this driver is a MUST for iMac Pro owners.

Nope, it works fine here. I have an iMac Pro with Vega 64. Installation worked perfectly. HOWEVER, this driver is almost too good to be true, scratching my head here. I updated from Apple's official Bootcamp driver based upon Adrenalin 17.12 (other earlier 18.X.X drivers didn't perform as well in Witcher 3). I tried two games now: Kingdom Come Deliverance and Witcher 3. With a framerate in the 50s (walking around in the village at the start of the game), I gained about 5 fps. In Witcher 3 I lost about the same walking around in the most demanding outdoor areas, which was expected (AMD seems to be less good at maintaining compatibility with older games than Nvidia). But the big thing here is the GPU temperature. I run the fans at a static 2500rpm. In KCD the temperature would almost immediately get into the mid 90s Celcius, but now it stays in the low 70s (71-75 C). Same thing with the Witcher 3, now the GPU temperature is consistantly 20 Celcius lower. I made sure to play for a while (5-10 minutes), and the temperature did not rise further. This is really good news. I've seen some previous Adrenaline drivers running hotter or cooler, but this is rather extreme. Obivously, this driver is a MUST for any iMac Pro owner. Thanks Mike. Seems promising. I'll wait on further feedback from either yourself/other users just to be sure these are safe to stick on the public page.

I have the latest version/patches of Windows 10 here btw. My version of Windows 10 is bought/legit. Could these issues be with people running pirated versions of Windows 10? Seems strange that it works here, but not others using the same hardware and OS...
I also didn't install the HDMI Audio driver or Problem Reporter, though I doubt that makes a difference.

Code 43 is a driver 'failure' issue. Could be that another driver is interfering with it for FlyingAdmiral2187, but I have no way of knowing from my end.

Maybe try installing again without the HDMI audio driver? Did the other iMac Pro user close programs/software running in the background before installing the drivers? Was DDU used in Windows safe mode? Just guessing here...

Mike do you have the T2 security enabled or not?

It's enabled. I experimented with disabling it a few months ago, but it made no noticeable difference afaik.

Okay... Vega 64 works, but Vega 56 still does not work! This is kind of strange. I did the exact same thing as told in the ReadMe-file, both times! I also ran DDU in safe mode and still got the Code 43. The Windows iso is from Microsoft directly. I hardly doubt it is not legit and going back to 18.3.4 works just fine!

I did also a clean OS install again on the Vega 56 one and it is still not functional reporting Code 43.

I'll wait to see if any other Vega 56 users have the same problem. Appreciate your feedback gents.

If it helps, Vega 64 is working for sure! I also did a clean OS install on the Vega 64 machine and reinstalled everything clean and it worked a second time just fine! Vega 56 still gives me Code 43. I tried 3 times now in total and it is still not working. The 18.8.1 driver also gave me the Code 43 on the Vega 56 machine. 18.3.4. works like a charm.

I just tested Crysis 1, and the temperature spikes are gone. The colours seem more vibrant too, compared to 17.12 (Bootcamp driver). This new driver should alleviate thermal stress on the internal components, not to mention less fan noise. Thanks Mat, really appreciate your efforts!
