Hey guys, newbie here. I installed the regular Crimson ReLive 17.3.2 edition and wanted to upgrade to the X-treme Gaming Edition on my MBP. When unzipping the file, I only found a certificate and the Bin64 folder. I tried running "ATISetup" under Bin64, but it only briefly popped up a command prompt then disappeared. Am I doing something wrong? Sounds like the download got corrupted when you were downloading. Try downloading again. That fixed it! Thank you!

Getting the error "DX11 feature level 10.0 is required to run the engine" when trying to boot up Playerunknown's battlegrounds through steam with the x-treme gaming edition driver. Works with the normal one, though not very well. the game is still being worked on though, so it might be something on their part?
Also getting this error message:
13:13:24: Starting BattlEye Service...
13:13:26: Launching game...
13:13:32: Note: File blocks can be ignored if they don't cause problems with the game.
13:13:32: [INFO] Blocked loading of file: "C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\c0313248.inf_amd64_615868b3f906ccab\aticfx64.dll".

Yes battleye is blocking a critical file from loading. Not sure why. I'll have to buy a game with battleye so I can conduct some testing.

14:11:05: Launching game... 14:11:10: Note: File blocks can be ignored if they don't cause problems with the game. 14:11:10: [INFO] Blocked loading of file: "C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\c0313068.inf_amd64_dd4f91dbdcc11531\atidxx64.dll"."

Hallo, my english is bad and i need help. =/
i have a iMac 27 with 395x and will play games on my Windows 10 Bootcamp. Many games dont work or make many problems. I cant update dthe GPU driver. Now i find your driver tool. I will play games and have questions for you.
With tool Version i need? "x-treme gaming Edition" is this right for me?
Is the install complicated? Are i lose my garantie by Apple? Can i destroy my iMac? Is the driver danger to use? Are all Version alpha?
Many thanks for you help, i will try this toll in the next days.

Hi paulol - see the answers to your questions below: 1) You can use the standard drivers or the further modified "XG" edition drivers which are slightly better for gaming. 2) The installation is not complicated. The easiest way is to follow the video or the read me file instructions. 3) Any warranty you have on your iMac could be voided in the event of a GPU failure if Apple discover you are not using official drivers. Having said this, thousands of people are using these drivers at the moment and not one has written to me to report that their GPU has failed as a result of using these drivers. 4) The drivers are very safe but not always without bugs. Drivers on the main download page are stable releases that work fine for about 95% of people on average. For the 5% it doesn't work for, it is often because they refuse to update Windows to the latest version or because the installer can't recognize the card for some reason (this is a very small number). Hope this helps you. Cheers.

Thank you for your professional answers. I have installed the driver. [1 Video] I recognized the following. During the installation of Windows 10 I have no bluetooth to my mouse and keyboard. Even after the installation, my mouse and keyboard do not work with Windows 10. No conection.. Is this normal? Magic Maus and Keyboard. At the installation of the driver, I had no second certificate. Ask: 1. Can I now update the AMD driver itself? Or do I have to load a new driver package from you? 2. How much does it overclock? Does it make sense? It must not destroy my iMac. That would be very bad. 3. Are there settings that slow my GPU or CPU? Can I do something else? 4. Why is the m395x not listed on the main page? Only M370X, 450, 455 & 460. 5. What does onscreen and offscreen mean? Video: drive.google.com/file/d/0B9GdvLcSoA3qMjZIUGxVeXAxdnc/view?usp=sharingImage: imgur.com/a/4KblyMany thanks for your help. Now games work. =)

Now games work. =) Safe mode does disable bluetooth though for some reason my magic keyboard still works fine in safe mode. Some users report otherwise however. The second certificate is no longer required, as stated by the video - its all built in to the installer. Answers to your questions below: 1. No. AMD still have the same blocks in place so upgrading that way will not work. If you did somehow manage to remove the blocks then it will cause BSOD to Windows and you would then need to reinstall Windows. To upgrade you will need to wait for my modified releases and repeat the same steps. 2. You can overclock the card a little bit yes to give extra 2 - 5 fps for your M395X. But if you don't really know what you are doing then it is best to leave it. The drivers are optimised to get maximum fps before any overclocking anyway, especially the "XG edition". 3. In Windows, make sure your power settings are set to "high performance" under power saving option in settings. Also make sure you don't have too many background tasks going on. 4. I listed the Macbook Pro graphics cards to clarify to users that it does include the newest 2016 model with touch bar. Otherwise 'iMac 5k' assumes all cards for iMac 5k which are compatible with my modified drivers. 5. Onscreen are the graphics that are rendered and then sent to the display which the user sees. Offscreen are graphics that are prerendered and outside the view of what the user sees on the screen. Offscreen is used for preloading graphics for example in free-roaming games so that they can become onscreen as soon as the user interacts to change the view of what they are looking at.

I use a lot of apps that require pro graphics capabilities (i.e. Autodesk apps like AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D Max), but also run a HTC Vive for VR from my iMac 5k. Some of the apps also have real time rendering for presentations. Any idea if the gaming features will slow down or cause issues with the apps? I know the line is blurring a lot between gaming and pro application requirements...

There is no benefit to having gaming drivers in windows 8.1. Recommend you upgrade to w10 as the 8.1 drivers will not be updated going forward
