That strange problem. I have MacPro with D300 without overclocking and don’t have any problem with pCars2 (except some green textures flickering, this known problem pCars2 not AMD drivers). Only two problems with drivers, i still don’t have any profiles in control center. And some software don’t recognized my GPU. Action! for example and for this reason i can’t use hardware acceleration in this app (btw no problem with PS or DaVinci Resolve, all worked fine. Maybe problem in Action!)
And one more question. I’m new to MacFanControl. Have you any recommendation for settings ? Thanks

It sounds like DDU is leaving files behind somewhere which is causing the error. If the latest version of DDU isnt doing its job properly I'd recommend using AMD's uninstall utility instead. Yes well with my drivers I still 'enabled' the ability to overclock in the hope that it would still work for some but for me it hasnt worked since 17.7.2 anyway. Latest version isn't always the best as sometimes it can bring bugs and glitches that weren't there before. AMD always state they are BETA releases until they release a WHQL version which has been verified as particularly stable by Microsoft. I have now managed an install of this driver in a stable manner. There are two major issues with this driver and I do not advice anyone with a nMP D500 with multi monitor and need for overclocking to install this driver. - It performs much worse than several of the earlier 17.9.xx drivers (at FPS capped to max 65 FPS both GPUs will almost always be at full usage while with earlier driver revisions usage was often in the ~70-85 %, resulting in much higher temperatures and no headroom with this 17.12.2 driver) - There is no way to access the advanced features in the driver control menu. - There is no driver control menu option to enable/ disable over clocking. - multi monitor spanning is still not fixed by AMD (no bezel controls). I had also immense problems to find a stable way to lock overclocks, often with clock speeds wildly changing, resulting in very bad artifacts (horizontal sync artifacts on all screens in all modes, even on the desktop without any load). The very only way to successfully overclock and lock both GPUs was with the latest revision of MSI Afterburner. The ONLY way. The formerly well working app ClockBlocker was COMPLETELY dysfunctional with 17.12.2 (even though it had a recent update specifically aimed at Adrenaline driver support). All in all this AMD driver revision did not improve on ANY of the issues I experienced with earlier drivers and does perform worse. It's biggest issue is indeed that it is extremely difficult to tame in this special environment (nMP with triple monitor setup and the need for overclocking). Currently I plan to go back to a pre Adrenaline driver but after spending the better part of the weekend on actually making this driver work I have had enough of twiddling with AMD products for the upcoming months. This experience with the inability of all last generations of MBP Retina and this nMP truly have healed me from AMD products. Unfortunately I have to build a Windows based workstation in the near future and the choice of GPU couldn't be more clear after years of suffering through this AMD CRAP. It will be a single GPU nVidia built without any shadow of a doubt. Too bad Apple currently has very strong relations to AMD so AMD GPUs will be in use in the future as we completely depend on Apple hardware and OS X for productivity. I am really looking forward to developments with eGPU support to hopefully get some powerful nVidia eGPU assisting in bootcamp.

There are no issues whatsoever when using just a single monitor, better even single monitor, single GPU (no x-fire). Essentially neither Apple or AMD really supports this specific setup and both are anemic to any sort of help to get their products running under such conditions. I still remember Apple's glowing marketing when the nMP was introduced of running up to 6 displays - yeah, right. Multi Monitor support my hairy a$$. It is only for people at Mat that we get these to run "somewhat" as marketing has advertised it back then. Re. your nMP D300: If you have not already learned about overclocking and the immense difference of running these cards at stock vs mild overclocks, give it a try (best of course use officially implemented tools and stay within the supported limits of the cards). There is a difference between night and day running the 2xD500 at stock 725 or at 975 core clock with x-fire. Apple designed the nMP with VERY conservative down clocking for silence on your desk and extended life. The nMP never was a real GPU machine any way, it was always about it's CPU and maxing out RAM for RAM intensive work. It's GPUs are quite puny considering contemporary GPUs

It's GPUs are quite puny considering contemporary GPUs I will see about bringing back overclocking in a future release for the AMD drivers (even if its only for the FirePro cards), though its likely the Adrenalin features will be lost until AMD progress far enough so that both can be used (which is what happened with Crimson ReLive eventually). Also Windows is VERY fussy about what adapters you use with your monitors and I suspect that is likely to be part of the issue. At the end of the day stick to a version that works best for you. Even if that is only version 17.9.x from September, that's still newer than the official Apple Bootcamp release so you're still going to see the benefits.

Hi Mat,
I just installed this driver, thank you!
However I do not have the relive tab active in my AMD Settings nor see a place to install it. I tried running the setup again and there was no option to install from there.
Is there any way for me to install?
iMac 2017 Radeon pro 575

I modded 17.12.2 myself by adding the usual Apple changes specific to my GPU family (Polaris 11, as I have the Pro 460) and overclocking works fine by enabling it with Afterburner and then using it in AMD settings,I can also use the new Radeon Overlay and ReLive and Performance Monitoring features.

I just updated and am having trouble running Overwatch. No issues in the past. Going to downgrade for the time being.
